I Have Used Grace a Few Times for my Retirement Extension over the Years, And Her Service has always been very good,But I Notice She has Increased her Price Used to be 14k,Now 15k + 500 Baht for EVERY 90 Day report so in total I Make that 17k " Over the Year "

Thanks for sharing your experience, that’s genuinely useful feedback. And yes, we did increase the yearly retirement extension fee by 1,000 THB, which went into effect around October 1st.

So More or Less the SAME Price as ANOTHER Agent I Used to Use in Udon Thani Plus I Don't need to POST My Passport there "Risking a Loss !!"

This is a reasonable concern when sending a passport by post, which is why we always recommend tracked delivery with signature on receipt. The issues we’ve seen in the past were almost always due to the passport not being sealed tightly inside the envelope, or the use of a non-waterproof envelope. Outside of that, postal delivery is extremely reliable. For Pattaya specifically we don’t recommend Kerry because of delays in that area, so for Pattaya we suggest cargo or DHL instead. In most other provinces, the chance of any issue is extremely low when the passport is sealed properly, clearly labeled, and placed in a waterproof envelope.

Also, for the 90-day reports, the 500 THB per report only applies when doing them individually. If you preorder 4 reports at once (which covers the whole year, and then some if you plan on traveling), it comes out 500 THB cheaper overall.

Customers in Bangkok can also use our free courier service, so there’s no extra cost for pickup and drop-off.

We try to balance everything by keeping communication clear and the process reliable from start to finish. In many cases we actually end up being the more affordable option as well, but it really depends on your location.

Thank you but I did mention personal experience, not online reviews, and I specifically asked only about TVC, giving their Bangna location.      "Easy to do some research". That's why I

I have used Grace at ThaiVisaCenter every year for the last 9 years. In Udon Thani by mail and in person from Samut Prakan. Perfect every time, takes care of every detail even photos if mine are iffy.

Perfect every time, takes care of every detail even photos if mine are iffy. Friendly personal service with full tracking details and fast courier or EM delivery or collection if I'm passing. I wouldn't dream of using any other Agents as I can't imagine the service can be beaten. You won't regret it, mate.

Thanks for that feedback.

Normally I do my visas myself. When I can't, these guys are my 1st choice 👏

The 15kTHB retirement ext fee includes you meeting the immigration financial requirements yourself also?

If so I don't understand why would you go to an agent like this paying 15kTHB when doing it in person is only 1900THB?

To some its money vs time would be my take? For those with time on their hands doing it yourself is a no brainer.

Yes, I believe that's the case, with or without funds.  The reason many use agents, funded or not, is for convenience.  It's not unknown for older retirees to have medical or mobility issues or just old-age-related-can't-be-arsed-with-it-all issues.

Thanks for everyone's feedback on this, I think I'd already 90% made my decision to use TVC but just needed some backup confirmation that they are "ok".

Thanks to Grace, also, for her almost instant and comprehensive responses to the many questions I fired at her!

Does TVC actually put the THB800k into your bank?

No other reason for them to require your bank passbook to process the application .

Yeah? If I give you my passbook, you can put 800,000 baht into my account, but you won't be able to get it out again.

You'll know soon enough why I wrote that.

They want a passbook with nothing in the account, perhaps a withdrawal slip has to be signed?

"You'll know soon enough why I wrote that".

Could you explain what you mean by that foreboding remark?   "Soon enough", why, what's going to happen?

and how they withdraw the money?

Just let them get on with it

Don't ask questions , just sign when asked

All agents deposit 800k. Obtain bank letter showing required balance.

The funds then instantly withdrawn.

this is 100% NOT true and this is based on personal experience using 2 different agents

By all means outline your experience or is it secret. What did your agent do re financials.

You posted here also (3 agents)

Rather than post what the agents didn't do perhaps post what they did do.

its not my place to discuss agents means
if they wish to do so, they will

ASK anyone who uses TVC, how the bank account works,  OK

Hands down, Thai Visa Centre is the best marketed, most well managed visa agency in Thailand.

They serve people from all over the country, unlike other agents/agencies that just do their visa stuff thru one immigration office.

They do what they say, in the time they say they'll do it, for the price they quote you.

Disclaimer:

I have no personal affiliation with TVC. True, they own the fb group I mod, but I modded that group for years before they bought it from the former owner..

I'm relating accurate feedback from many people I've talked to who have used them for various visa/extensions over the years.

Best of luck in your visa endeavors

It's not meant in any foreboding or negative way. You've mentioned that you're already in touch with TVC, so you should ask them what exactly they need from you and how exactly they will be doing things.

While it's an open secret that agents take care of the financials, I'm not in favor of discussing any specifics (how a specific agent deals with specific banks and immigration offices) on a public forum, so I just want to encourage you to close any gaps in your understanding of the process by asking the agent directly.
