I can't afford it in Thailand

But I can afford one in Canada.

Should I bite the bullet? YOLO?

Much more of a professional's car, it says architect, lawyer, accountant, old-money.  A Lamborghini screams chav, spiv, new-money.

WOW - you seem to be very insecure if you chose to make purchase decisions based on what you 'think' other people will think of you.

That is maybe important for younger up and coming professionals - at my age, I will exclusively buy what gives me joy and thrills and a grin when I shut down the engine.

If you’re running a business, it’s very important what your clients think of you, and that they consider you a trustworthy supplier or whether they think you are a spiv

When my business took off, I bought a Rolls Royce but still drove a diesel Mercedes C Class to go to client meetings.

Today I drive what I want, I wouldn’t thank you for a Ferrari or Lamborghini, far too uncomfortable. The last exotic car I bought was a Porsche Taycan new from the official dealer in Bangkok, I wanted the best electric car in the world and that’s what I got.

I prefer to be wafted along in my Mercedes S Class today than have my body shaken about in a spivvy Italian go-kart.

No

When people see you driving a car such as those mentioned above, they don't see YOU, they see themselves in it and imagine how much others may envy them.

Personally I would never want to own such a vehicle as I'd feel like a pratt who is lacking elsewhere in life.

Any idiot can spend or waste money. Up to you.

Buying something like that second hand is fine right up to the time it needs a service or repair and then it turns into a bottomless money pit.

Sure you can buy it cheaply but where to get it serviced. At the dealer where you pay premium prices and may wait for weeks for the parts to be ordered and delivered,

I just did a Google search for Lamborghini dealers in Canada and the AI search came up with this.

AI Overview

There are

at least two Lamborghini dealerships in Canada: one in Vancouver, British Columbia, and another listed for Montreal, Quebec. While the official Lamborghini website and other sources list these two locations, there may be additional, smaller dealerships or service centers throughout the country that are not as widely publicized.

Lamborghini Vancouver: This is a major dealership serving the Vancouver area.

Lamborghini Montreal: This is another officially recognized dealership.

Other locations: It is possible there are other dealerships or service centers in different Canadian cities, but they are not listed on the official Lamborghini website.

A search of the official Lamborghini website and other luxury car sources shows only these two official dealerships in Canada.

If you've got FU money laying around, why not?   But personally, looking back at my financial life, the stupidest money I spent was on fast cars, fast boats and wimmuns.

Not that I didn't enjoy them, but the cost per outing was ridiculous to the point that, had I been able to rent a fast car or fast boat for $1000 a day, I'd have been better off renting.  And that was back on the 90's.  I'm sure that number is higher now.  Much higher.

I'm still too butthurt (self inflicted) to admit all the money I pissed away on chasing women.  Not even fast ones.  Live and learn.

Just shows how much you should trust AI.  From the Lamborghini website.

Som instead of 2 main dealers there are twice as many, Now there are 4 across the whole of Canada,

Wow, That does NOT take away the fact that unless you live close to a dealer you will be perhaps 1,000 miles away from a simple thing like a service for your car, let alone from any genuine original source of spares.

BTW I was responding to the OP, so the AI response is of no interest to me.

You are what you drive and some say the more exotic and expensive the ride, it serves as a penis extension. Here's mine BTW.

Presumably you wouldn't buy it if that was a problem for you, but my point was more that AI should be verified before being reported as fact, irrespective of what it pertains to.
