  • What legitimate reason is there to arrest him? Not wearing shoes?  They do not define being disruptive as reported by Thais. Thais can say disruptive to almost any behavior they do not understand

  • How about this....

  • Arrest him..and then deport and ban for life!

I've been saying this about bald headed barefoot people for years. Can't trust em', but did anybody listen?

That could be B.S. since no charges have been made for this act.

Maybe it's time to stop digging.......🕳

They do not define being disruptive as reported by Thais. Thais can say disruptive to almost any behavior they do not understand. Even just normal speaking if you have a loud voice. Or perhaps they do not like to see he is wearing a catheter with a pee bag attached.

I do know one thing though. Whoever took the pic should be arrested for being a peeping Tom. Is it not illegal to stand at someone window and take photos of them inside their home and post them online?

I do not know laws where you live but …..“argued with another guest and attempted to stab him.”  Would be enough to arest you in Most countries.

When are the signs going up: Poles not Welcome Here

They will probably translate and write as: STANCHIONS not Welcome Here

Thailand, with its tourism policy, is a magnet for rather simply structured lower-class rabble from all over the world!:coffee1:

I would be interested to see what his last name and background  is.

Could his surname be Rabinowitz or Steinberg or Goldstein or something like that  ?

Should be on the next flight out of Thailand, with a lifetime ban.

Did he threatened to stab someone?  Or was that a typo?

Per usual the RTP makes a terrific work. 😂

That is possible.

But let’s not speculate.

An allegation. There were no reported injuries and no charges to date. No convictions either.

Perhaps he is an undesirable, but you do need to  justify a removal.  Fat, bald and rude is insufficient. If that was sufficient, much of Pattaya and Patong would be emptied.

What about his two cats if he was deported 🤪

They'll be fine, or curried.

Looks like the Thai authorities are unable or don't want to hand out  serious sentences to foreign tourists causing problems

Tourists money 💰 🤑 seems to come first over people's concerns on safety

Too many poles are hit by Poles.

Who will look after his cats ? Also, there appear to be doubts that he threatened to stab anybody.

So apparently, this chap who travels everywhere with his two cats has just been arrested for being aggressively unpleasant. And wouldn’t you know it, I recently read that studies claim pet lovers – whether you’re a dog or a cat person – tend to be more empathetic and socially open. Well, clearly, he must’ve been the control sample. Fascinating stuff, these studies — always full of surprises.

So attempts to stab someone and just gets asked to leave the hotel 😳

He should be jailed , blacklisted for life and all the cops that asked him to leave should be suspended for not doing their duty and just taking the easy way out instead of confronting him.

I'm not making excuses for such dereliction of what we would consider duty, but this is a police  problem throughout the country with Thais and foreigners of all stripes: how to enforce the law in a culture which abhors confrontation and in which the biggest sin is making someone 'lose face' - e.g. by arresting them.

We read about the resulting failures and anomalies day in day out. It's not about corruption, cowardice or incompetence. I'm convinced it's about culture. I do accept that the BiB is also to a staggering extent a corrupt organization. But that's also based on tradition and culture in my opinion - with perps being offered easier and cheaper ways out of misdemeanors and even felonies to avoid the train crash of things like public sentencing and the resulting family ruination.

Comes with the territory.

Lots of buddies out on the streets who'll show 'em how to get on ... they'll love it - rats and mice galore. And loadsa shagging as well.

No need to apologise as  I don't feel "affected"

I was simply agreeing with you , whilst highlighting how we ,  the  "simply structured lower-class rabble from all over the world!"  like us spend our free time.

What makes you think that you  are any better than anyone else ?

One presumes the post, thus the reporting is correct
