TM30 online (surprise surprise not working)

Featured Replies

Hi just returned from a road trip from Laos and tried registering  a TM30 0nline  and got this message on the site (The immigration website has been updated. We are currently working on implementing their updates on our side. New residence registrations are currently on hold. TM30 forms for existing residences are currently being processed.)

Does anyone know how long it's been like this  ?? ... and want are my alternatives ? other than going to Pattaya Immigration in person 😞

I'm sure your first TM30 after travelling abroad must be done in person

Unless you've changed address you don't fuss with tm30

It's the arrival departure online that needs to now be done

Tm30 only changes when You've changed the address

Even so you wouldn't couldn't change that from abroad tm30

No, that's your first 90 day report. TM47 is it? TM30 is done by the place you are staying, or yourself.

Agree with Safety First.......presumably you have a new TM6?

You can't do your 90 day report online after returning from abroad.

Just done mine (third one this year).....took five minutes tops.

First one after returning from abroad.

TM.30 not TM.40....and that is you where you reside ......... not asked for when doing online.

Is TM6 not now gone? It's all this new online registration.

Yes....I meant that it will have gone into the system via the online registration.....so immigration....I assume ..........are notified you are returning from abroad and block online reporting.

A real bu99er for me as it is a three hour round trip do to in person.

At what point did you get this message?

I can login and add details but didn't want to submit, and it's OK up to that point.  I last did one about 7 weeks ago.

Just check the site again this morning (18/11) and still showing the  :-  (The immigration website has been updated. We are currently working on implementing their updates on our side. Online TM30 worked for me yesterday (17/11/2025) afternoon. Just logged in now and checked to see that my report is still there.

Same same.  Despite doing the daft TDAC; despite having a multi-re-entry permit; photocopying multiple pages of data all of which has not changed in decades, all of which they have had multiple times over the years!  It takes me roughly 30 minutes drive (others are not so lucky); a tour of the flooded carpark + 40 baht for this pleasure.  I watched as my papers were 'filed' in a box under the desk (to be re-cycled/re-used?)  Then I did the return journey asking myself WHY was this necessary?  Why is tourism to Thailand down 8% whilst Vietnam's figures are soaring?

No, it depends on where you live. Jomtien doesn't care. Chanthaburi immigration told me any time I lay me head down and sleep somewhere other than my registered address I am to report it to them.

This is not correct. Like Jomtien told you but obviously do what The people giving your extension to you want

One of the admins will be by to sort out the record

That was the line of thinking some years ago but think the system got all screwed up.

I can't be certain but I think this is what has happened.

I'm guessing the system couldn't accommodate multiple dates. Immigration was left confused on your day of entry or the original date corresponding to your lease because it changed as people traveled domestically.

There was a big brouhaha some years ago if you recall?

Years ago when I had the condo admin change it in her system she was like WTF? Cannot.. Recall later having some sort of issue with immigration. They let it all slide It was just a big clusterfox

I'm not here to give you bad advice or something that goes against what you're being told by immigration locally. But I'm not surprised if you have issues down the road

Good luck

Be careful if you even go for a day trip or something in another town, or even same town, in Thailand and stay in a hotel or guest house, they register guests and update their TM30 for that place, even for one night...!

Once back to your usual resident, must update the TM30 again. I once went for 90 day reporting and forgot that 2 months ago I stayed in a hotel outside Phuket, they told me the address was changed. Had to contact landlady to update TM30..., she has an app, did it right away and officer saw it updated on his computer live... (vow ! 😃) and all was good after that...!

Good to hear the hotels/guest houses are doing what they are required to do.
