How many hours per day do you spend on AN?

Honest question. I’ve been wondering… some people post dozens of times a day, which makes me curious how anyone finds time for a life offline too. Does anyone actually track how many hours they spend here? What’s a typical daily AN routine like? Scheduled meal breaks at least? Some people seem to spend hours reading and replying to all kinds of idle dialogue. And some posts make me wonder how anyone has the time or energy to type so much about… well, pretty much nothing. What keeps those types coming back every day? Lonely obsession?

You should have just made a poll.

  • What you do is perfectly normal, you don't require medication.    You should control your anger though, I see you getting hostile at times with other members. This can affect your health.

  • When I get up I turn my PC on, then it is on all day. One of my tabs is this forum, so it looks like I am on here all day when I am actually not............😉

  • Great question.    I reckon there's a few here who have an addiction, probably should get therapy and take medication.    I like the members who reply with 1000 word comments.

An hour a day :coffee1:max , in vain hope of finding news that's not anywhere else....

Answer - too many !

But really, if I'm not on here I'd be watching a TV series - this is just another form of entertainment.

I dont go out every night. I can't play football every night. I don't want to watch TV all day.

Its so hot and humid outside - I don't want to spend all day outside either.

Wife is an outstanding cook - so I'm not the one doing meal prep.

I travel a lot of work and spend a lot of time in hotels - this fills plenty of the flat time.

I can quite happily sit with the wife while she watches TV and I'm on here engaging.

When this question is asked - I'd wonder - what else would you be doing ?

- Restoring a car ? (probably not in the Thailand head unless I had an AC garage - I change the battery on my motorcycle and I'm soaking with sweat)....

- Exercise - Thats one hour !

- Cycle Lane (not every day) - takes too long to get to and back to be worth it.

I can type at talking speed - so responding to comments and threads doesn't consume much time at all.

I hardly bother using this forum on the phone though - as I find typing on a phone screen horrible.

I might read the forum when stuck in a taxi while going out - just to kill the time, but I'll rarely bother replying to anything then.

What time is prime time Thai time ?

2:56 PM

Harrisfan very conspicuous by his absence on this topic. He knows he would be absolutely slated if he said anything less than 16 hours a day.

Most activity I believe 8 - 12 also depending on Harris, Cam, Malcom is active of course

Did I forget anyone?

I only post after sex.

953 times since March. It's a good way to keep tally.

Anywhere from 15 minutes to 28 hours per day. I'm retired so I do what I please.

Well, we have a poster here who posts 50 or more posts per day. Why not ask him
