General Service intervalls for keep car under warranty?

Featured Replies

What are the service intervall for keeping a new car under warranty,i guess its km or month whatever comes first? The car would be a Toyota or Honda gasoline engine,or an izuzu diesel.

I have a Honda - the service book says every 10,000 kms; the Honda service centre at the dealership says every 10,000 kms or every 6 months, which ever comes first.

I have a Toyota and its the same!

I’ve got a Toyota hybrid. Dealer advised service intervals of 10,000 Km or 6 months, whichever comes first.

My Isuzu in Thailand is every six months or 10,000km.

My Kia in Australia is every 15,000 km or one year.

Ford ranger Thailand diesel  15,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first

A simple look in the service booklet will give you the exact answer 😉

No. It depends on car model what is recommended – and also driving conditions – check the manual for a specific brand and model.

Edit: Example of a Toyota Veloz service, total is 3 pages of specific items...

Bought a new honda last year, told 10,000km or one year. It's booked in for its first service Monday.

Strange other people told differently.  I know the like to service diesels more frequently.  However with Improvements to oIL technology over the years , ive read servicings do not need to be done as frequent.  I will ask at Honda tomorrow the service frequency of a petrol driven car.

AI tells me that the service interval for a Toyota Vigo with 4 D4 diesel engine is 5000 km or 6 months, whereas the book, and dealer, say 10,000km/12 months. Hmmmm?

When in doubt, always trust AI... 😉

What do car manufacturers know about cars... Ha... ha... ha...!

AI knows everything better, and you don't even have to read the manual   😉
