A Thai man claiming to be a wealthy high-society figure has been accused of sexually assaulting at least four women in Bangkok, following a report made to non-profit organisation Saimai Survive on November 24. Two alleged victims, a 19-year-old university student and a 25-year-old private company employee, sought help from the group and said two more women came forward after they shared their experiences online. The allegations have prompted growing concern over the suspect’s actions and the potential scale of the case.

According to Saimai Survive founder Ekkaphop Lueangprasert, both women recounted their ordeals during a press conference, describing how the man used social media to present himself as wealthy by posting images of luxury clothing and accessories. The university student stated the incident occurred early on November 22, after the suspect saw her social media posts showing she was out with friends in the Ratchayothin area. She said he persistently messaged her, convinced her to step outside the venue and persuaded her to get into his vehicle.

She reported that the man drove her to a secluded location in Soi Prasert-Manukit 2, where he allegedly raped her. The student said he choked her, covered her mouth, pulled her hair and overpowered her despite her attempts to resist, with the assault lasting around 40 minutes. She added that he later threatened legal action if she reported the incident, leading her to file a complaint with Phahonyothin Police Station.

The second alleged victim said she encountered the suspect on November 21 at a nightclub in the Thong Lo area and accepted his offer to drive her home. She reported that he instead took her to a dark street in Pridi Banomyong, attempted to kiss her, and seized her phone when she tried to call friends for help. She stated he drove to another isolated location and attempted to sexually assault her, but she managed to escape when another car arrived nearby and a woman from that vehicle helped her leave the scene.

Ekkaphop said he has alerted police in the relevant districts to expedite the investigation into the suspect’s actions. The second victim said she had not yet filed a police report, while officers have not released further updates regarding the suspect or possible charges. The reports have raised questions about the role of social media in luring victims and the need for urgent action to establish the full extent of the allegations.

Workpoint reported that investigations are expected to continue as authorities review the complaints and seek additional information about the suspect and any other potential victims. Police responses and formal charges remain pending and further developments are anticipated as more details emerge.

Thailand is a smorgasbord, no need to force anybody. Everybody loves a hi-so, eh.

Why would you get in a car with someone that you do not know?  I am sorry but Thai girls are so sheltered that it sometimes amazes me.

Sick behaviour in a city that offers plenty of friendly company.

Enamored with the idea of a ride in a Porsche.  Even more enamored with the idea of taking a picture of it and posting it to one-up their "friends"

This girl obviously wasn't. She wasn't putting out for this guy and was not a 'joiner', a polite word which has gone out of fashion.

Wait. I saw nothing that indicated any fancy car. Aside: I noticed at The Mall Namwongwan 'supercar' parking.
