I'm not aware that, to quote you, 'AN members are obsessed with bar girls'. Most of us have other interests to follow/occupy our time.

Bars and bar girls in that environment can be fun and a good night out, but that's as far as it it goes really and it stays in the bar. If you are on holiday and want to have a banging time with bar-hopping and pay-to-play etc... then okay, whatever floats your boat. Other than that, most guys that live here are probably in relationships mostly... but even then, a visit to such bars can be fun and a welcome change of pace at times.

I remember a long time ago, when I was about 25, having an unexpectedly revealing discussion with an older manager in the company I was working for when he suddenly divulged that sex was something in the past for him, and he was throwing himself into his hobbies.  I knew something of his wife and I suspect it was her decision, not his, but he was putting a brave face on it.  He was around 45.  I felt sad for him at the time and, recollecting it, still do because he was a good and healthy man.
