You could do it yourself with copilot:

The value of currency is primarily determined by supply and demand dynamics, influenced by factors such as interest rates, inflation, capital flow, and government policies.

Key Factors Influencing Currency Value

  1. Supply and Demand: The fundamental principle that governs currency value is supply and demand. When demand for a currency increases relative to its supply, its value appreciates. Conversely, if the supply of a currency increases without a corresponding rise in demand, its value declines.

  2. Interest Rates: Higher interest rates typically attract foreign capital, increasing demand for that currency and thus raising its value. Conversely, lower interest rates can lead to depreciation as investors seek better returns elsewhere.

  3. Inflation: Inflation affects purchasing power. Countries with lower inflation rates tend to see an appreciation in their currency value, as their purchasing power remains stable compared to countries with higher inflation rates, which can lead to depreciation.

  4. Capital Flow: The movement of capital in and out of a country significantly impacts currency value. A country experiencing a capital inflow (more investment coming in) will see its currency appreciate, while capital outflow can lead to depreciation.

  5. Government Policies: Central banks and governments can influence currency value through monetary policy, including setting interest rates and controlling money supply. For example, a government may intervene in foreign exchange markets to stabilize or increase the value of its currency.

  6. Economic Indicators: Various economic indicators, such as employment rates, GDP growth, and trade balances, can influence perceptions of a currency's strength. Positive economic data can boost confidence in a currency, leading to appreciation.

  • Hilarious for a country which likes tourists so much - when there's elections we all know what this means - mass closures of bars and entertainment leaving the tourists with little to do in the evenin

  • It was expected and it shows that the accusations of Anutin are real.. He is afraid to be grilled. The THB will go up again.. All negative news is making the THB more expensive

Is the big amendment a secret or just an afterthought here?

Specifically:

  • It proposed that at least one-third of the 200 appointed senators must approve any constitutional amendment.

  • Requiring their approval would make real constitutional change much harder, especially changes sought by the opposition.

  • The opposition was about to file a no-confidence (censure) motion, which he was likely to lose because his government lacks enough MPs.

  • By dissolving the House, he blocks the censure vote, resets everything, and forces a general election instead.

The chaos happened because:

  • Anutin’s party suddenly switched sides at the last minute to support this senator-approval requirement.

  • That reversal derailed the amendment process and triggered the political fallout that led to dissolving parliament.

Just another round on the merry-go-round of Thai politics...

Anutin makes the mess and lets others clean it up.

Evades responsibility by running away.

It is a lot faster explaining things to dummies.
