Yes, I too believe that eventually an embedded chip in our bodies will be able to deal with various infirmities. The only issue is that these people with disabilities need the embedded chip NOW. What will they do for the next 25 years until this is invented? Try not using your phone for a day or two, and then realize what it will be like for what will be for most visually-impaired people, the rest of their lives.

 

We see constant safety recalls on new cars and trucks because the automakers rushed to get the product out to the consumers before all the safety checks were made. We see the same thing happening with AI. Suddenly, everyone is relying upon AI for more and more of life's daily tasks... but AI is still making so many mistakes. It was released too soon.

 

Sure, we're slowly fixing the problems, but people are still driving into dead-end roads because the AI in their Navigation system just wasn't up to the task, and people are still getting incorrect answers to their questions because the AI program they are using was released before it was correctly programmed. Eventually, all these problems will be worked out, all the bugs driven out of the code.

The problem right now is the word 'eventually.'
