Was 2025 good to you?

What about all the goals you set before the year started did you achieve them?

 

I always like to read the members here such as Simon who do a lot in their time and change a lot in their year 

 

Are you glad to see the end of 2025?

 

I remember going to a NYE pool party back in 1988 where a friend who had a very bad year was celebrating, as soon as it hit midnight he was relieved almost like all his problems were over .

 

I was in city in Newcastle in Australia in the early 80's the city started rioting because they were angry at change 

 

Is it a time of celebration??

2025 was nothing spectacular for me, no big problems either. I did not make any promises to keep either. Luckily, good health has prevailed, just one year older.

It was a pretty good year. I dropped 14 kg and had sex with 4 white women.

Still have some work to do, but I cracked the code and I feel so much lighter.

What goals are you babbling about? Are you a guy setting up goals for the new year, that you so very much is chasing all year? Really? If you haven´t reached your goals at your age, just dram on. It will never happen!

im not in LOS so life stinks

Just the same as 2024 ,2023 ,2022  in fact forever , up and down,

good and bad , looking forward to 2026 ,when I will expect it to be

more of the same , Happy Christmas and a better New Year than I 

am sure to have....

I will be doing boxing next year that's my goal to start boxing 

I want to maybe go to the seniors Olympics

Well, dozens of slot machine jackpots. Made money but my Medicare premiums will increase. Had six months off between engineering  contracts. So far one month in thailand which is OK. Started so I'll security which by itself is more than enough to support me without me touching my investments and IRA accounts.  Re allocated some of my portfolio and put 100k into xrpc etf and 30 k into SLV .  Lost a sister to drug addiction.  I tried to help, but in the end she refused 300 usd every month and hurt her herself and family.   

 

2926 I will start new engineering  contract and dosh up like mad for the next 15 months in preparation for buying my modest retirement home in Melbourne Florida area,  although am also toying with new Hampshire which is now totally state income tax free.  I grew in New England and I really do miss the seasons. I'm able to travel and escape the coldest months of winter as needed.  

 

In short, things are OK, and I'm looking forward to some of the  Christmas dinners here in Pattaya later this week.

 

Definitely planning on visiting Europe in 2026, the UK war. Museums,  then Scandinavian and a Nordic  country or two.  Maybe Greece,  my grand parent's home land
