His wife also reportedly joined in the verbal assaults.

This story doesn't make sense to me. This guy and his Thai wife get drunk on a train and that start insulting Thailand to the point the police were called and then he fought with the police? Nothing he said about Thailand was on video so it's impossible to know but I bet there's more to this story.

Was it really necessary for other passengers to start beating him ?

The guy landed the first punch.

That's how it works here.

He's lucky he didn't end up in a coma.

What a complete numskull, sounds like the guy is just incredibly unhappy with his life, had a little bit too much to drink and was taking it out on everyone around him. He needs to be silenced, and I can think of a few ways to do that.

I don't think anyone appreciates a foreigner who comes here and be berates the local people while praising Cambodia. It sounds like the man is in need of a mental institution.

So is Trump

A foreign tourist was forcibly removed from a train in Thailand after causing a disturbance. The man, accompanied by his Thai wife, reportedly insulted passengers, praised Cambodia, and engaged in aggressive behavior. Witnesses and railway staff had to intervene after he smashed a train window and demanded alcohol during a late-night altercation.

The incident began when the man's argument with his wife escalated as they traveled on the train. Witnesses described him making obscene gestures and loudly criticizing Thailand and its people. The disturbance started around 01:00, waking and unsettling passengers.

Approximately 20 minutes later, railway staff attempted to de-escalate the situation but were met with resistance. The man verbally abused officials and physically attacked at least one passenger. Other travelers eventually restrained him, as seen in a video posted by Facebook user Ameenah Tokyousoh.

Despite being ordered to exit at the next station, the man continued to insult Thais via livestreaming. His wife also reportedly joined in the verbal assaults. At the station, the confrontation peaked with the man causing further damage before being removed by authorities.

The incident has gained significant online attention, with the video attracting widespread condemnation of the man's actions, reported Khaosod.

I really hope he was arrested and fined 10 00 baht at least.

As long as the police keep humoring these idiots, it will never stop.,And as foreigners we will all suffer .

He is an idiot. But this urge of Thai men to join in when there is a fight of many again one is quite unhealthy IMO.

Monkey attack is what it is. Anyway he asked for it

Yes. What would have even been better is if the other passengers had thrown him off the train at full speed! He deserved that.

I think the Thais are a lovely people, and they are also a very proud people, so how do you think it makes them feel when a foreigner goes off about how terrible they are, and how bad life is here? What is the foreigner doing here if life is so bad, and why doesn't he just leave and do us all a favor?

And at 1am on a train where people are trying to sleep. I’d have been hard pressed not to join in as well just so as to shut the mf up!

Agreed. If he doesn't

shut up, gag him, and if that doesn't work a bunch of guys just simply need to throw him off the train, and that should be an ongoing policy.

You make enough trouble, you cause enough mayhem, you get tossed into the pastures. See ya!
