January 29Jan 29 Do you use one?If so whats in it?I have one for power bank, glasses, vitamins. Its army style so looks "manly"Very well made with drink holder. Can attack beer opener to outside.
January 30Jan 30 Power banks are over. The only people still hauling those heavy bricks around are owners of bargain bin phones with batteries so weak they wheeze after you take a dump. Or terminally online nobodies who spend the entire day malignantly glued to their screens, doomscrolling and trolling on AN because they have nothing else going on. If your phone cannot survive a normal day without being hooked up to a portable power source, the problem is not modern technology. It is you.

Just look at all those XL sized macho type bodybuilt tatooed lads around Nana. They are meekly walking towards a seedy hotel and following a ladyboy who is leading them the path to the golden shower dungeon nearby. 🤣

Proper minimalist kit, that is. Just me cards inside, a bit of dosh clipped on the outside, job done.

Impossible to be pick pocketed and only takes a few seconds to get to.
January 30Jan 30 Only take my 'bag' out of the house, when we are both out of the house. Having my most precious doc in it: PP, yellow & bank book, plastic & money. Also has reading specs, blade, toothpicks & T ... D ... S pen.Waist strap and lays fairly flat & incognito against my leg and shirt covers half of it. Keeps any weight off my spine, if carrying for long time, and hands/shoulder free.

Small bag of Wet wipes most likely, reading glasses. Some reserve cash Nok and Baht. I very rarely wear man bag unless I'm flying somewhere.

I wouldn't do it, as pants have enough pockets for what you really need daily. If you need to carry more, hopefully you have a woman around. I was raised in the NYC area, and knew many Archie Bunkers. It was funny hearing how they think, although misogynist in nature. He was also spot on in many things. Outspoken and biased but real.
January 30Jan 30 When I carry one, its the now discontinued Osprey Ultralight Shoulder Satchel. What goes in it depends on what I am doing and where I am going

Man bags are common in Thailand and practical. Drink, glasses, vitamins. Very handy. If people are scared to use a man bag cause they think bags are "gay" maybe they are gay and can't admit it. A real man carries his wife's handbag while she tries on a new dress.

We Scandinavians are famous for hour back packs and wearing the everywhere we go, but I prefer a slim man bag across my chest when I can.

I similarly use it primarily when travelling and don't need the laptop, so not using the laptop roller bag. It holds passport, documents, credit cards, keys, Kindle etc, extremely practical and simple solution.
