Outside of "health problems" everything in Thailand can be "settled/resolved" just as long as one has enough money to "smooth-over" daily/monthly/yearly challenges that a Farang faces routinely in Thailand.

Easiest country to retire in the world if you are on budget, but if you got expensive habits, it can end up be one of the worst.

I honestly wonder how much longer it will be before his reputation score slips into negative digits. Sounds like UK pensioners have it better than Australian pensioners!!!.

I think it's around $1100 a fortnight in Australia and pay $5 for each prescription and free in the Uk

$2.50 a day for public transport in Australia and free in the UK , I think better to go to UK !!!

That's why the income taxes are so high and taxes for everything else.

Most lower end earners in the USA only pay about 2.3% income tax. Less taxes paid more money in the pocket, chances are they might not run out of money when they get older.

If they do, they get subsidized housing healthcare and food also.

The most important thing is to be happy with yourself then it doesn't matter where you are.
