New online 90-day item

Featured Replies

When I filled in my online form today, the page said my password was too old. It was, of course, the same one I'd used since they put 90 days online.

The system would not let me in until I clicked Forgot password & created a new one with an extra character as required. Mine had only a number, upper & lowercase.

Immigration actually wants us to change our passwords every 90 days! WTF! It's not (yet) a requirement but... They've also bought into human verification so no robot need apply.

Sheesh! One more breakable item in the chain...

Well they "recommend" not "require" every 90 days, maybe only cut you off if you ignore that a few times.

No they don't.

Think you will find it's an annual update.

I'd ask why but that, of course, would require a sensible reason!

What's your issue.

Some time ago I was prompted to change password.

Which I did.

Subsequent suggestions to update password I ignored.

Have had zero issues.

Personally, I look forward to these precursor "another nail in the Thai immigration coffin" type of threads.

Golly, so stressful. Some people should just stay in bed.

Immigration brought in an updated version of the software at the beginning of 2026 which requires an updated password.

Person accesses an online platform and is asked to change their password. How does this even warrant a post in here?

Does anyone knows how to change the email address for the immigration account?I don't see any options to do that.

You're free not to look. I don't use a password manager. I recycle the same passwords for all but the most important bull<deleted>.

I can remember it. And I don't like being told what to do.

I'd be tempted to create a new login with the new email address.

I know I'm free not to look.

But I did look, saw a completely pointless post about a non-issue, so decided to comment on its pointlessness. Which I'm also free to do.

55555, makes me laugh sometimes, if you say right somebody is bound to say left. I try to say nothing.

Personally I'd be more inclined to have a pop at the clueless idiot in the Immigration Bureau's IT Department who was responsible for the inane recommendation that we change our password each time we use the online 90-day reporting system, rather than the OP. If, in practice, we only need to change our password annually, why could this not have been said upfront instead?

It happened to me. I couldn't get back into the site and had to do it at immigration. I've changed my password and have logged in to the site. I wonder if I'll get a reminder in a couple of weeks?

I don't see what the issue is frankly I don't mind and it was not a hassle compared to having to drive. A few other sites I use do the same thing.

OR

Would you rather do the secondary verification where they send you an email with a number.
