US troops told that the war on Iran is all part of God’s divine plan

More than 200 complaints have been received by a watchdog group from service members across all branches of the US armed forces regarding US military commanders invoking extremist Christian rhetoric about biblical “end times” to justify involvement in the Iran war to troops.

Apparently Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth!

US Troops ‘Told Trump Was Anointed by Jesus’ as Iran War Sparks Military Backlash

Hundreds of US service personnel have lodged complaints after commanders allegedly framed Donald Trump’s strike on Iran as a divinely ordained step towards Armageddon.

The claims, now under review by a military watchdog, raise explosive questions about religious rhetoric inside America’s armed forces at a time of escalating conflict.

‘Part of God’s Divine Plan’

According to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, more than 110 complaints have been submitted from over 40 units across 30 installations.

Non-commissioned officers reported that a combat commander urged troops to view the Iran campaign as “all part of God’s divine plan”, citing the Book of Revelation and the return of Jesus Christ.

One NCO said the commander declared Trump was “anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon”.

Morale and Constitution in the Crosshairs

At least one complaint came from a Christian NCO writing on behalf of 15 troops — including Christians, a Muslim and a Jew — warning the rhetoric would “destroy morale and unit cohesion”.

He argued the remarks breached the oath to support the Constitution, which enshrines the separation of church and state.

The complaints have been channelled to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, a non-profit group that advocates for religious neutrality within the ranks.

Watchdog ‘Inundated’

MRFF president Mikey Weinstein said his office had been “inundated”, describing what clients called “unrestricted euphoria” among some command chains over a “biblically-sanctioned war”.

He claimed certain officers portrayed the conflict as proof of the approaching “End Times”, reveling in its apocalyptic imagery.

Pressure Builds on the Pentagon

The Pentagon has yet to respond publicly to the allegations. But the stakes are acute.

As US forces brace for possible deployment, critics warn that religious framing of military action risks undermining discipline, cohesion and constitutional guardrails — just as America edges deeper into war.

Since thousands of years. If rulers needed support of their "actions" they declared: "It's in the name of God". Or even better: "God want's it".

Get a grip. Look at the list and the years. China was invading Korea. Are you really shedding tears for North korea?

Had the USA not engaged in Yugoslavia in 1999, the Bosniaks would have been completely wiped out as the Serbians were killing any Bosniaks they found. And so on. Unbelievable that you are upset by the bombing of japan in 1945. I suppose you expected the allies to have stopped Japan by singing songs and doing a tik tok dance.

The point I am trying to make is that out of all the countries in the world, the USA is the most prolific in its use of bombs. No other country even comes close.

Bombs don't discriminate. They kill innocent women and children, as well as combatants. But I suppose a person with your mindset dismisses that as "collateral damage"

Trump only believes in one god. Himself. He just uses religion as a tool to keep his right wing christian supporters on side.

The Annointed One indeed. Someone has been looking at too many of Trump's AI generated photos of himself.

Give this a chance, quite good documentary explaining Pax Americana and not only about space. No matter who you side with, give it a try,

Which "God" are we talking about? Certainly not the Christian God. Maybe the Satanic God, or possibly the Capitalism God? Or is it the God Trump?

Yours seem to allow tyrannical regimes to carry on their killing.

People protesting the death of the mad mullah and his cronies shortly after he ordered the murder of 1000s of his own people, can’t make it up.

Don't let this distract from the amount of bombing that's been sanctioned by Trump. Looks like he's bombed as many places as wars he has claimed to have stopped.

Chairman of the Board of Peace my arse.

You threw up a list of alleged wrongdoings by the USA, and now proclaim that that the USA is the most prolific in its use of bombs. There is no context. Presenting the use of bombs against Japan in 1945 or in the liberation of Korea in the 1950's as indicative of a negative intent is offensive. Had it not been for those US bombs, the people of South Korea would not have bene liberated from the oppression of the Chinese. The Japanese campaign of brutality would not have been pushed back in SE Asia. And as bad as the Vietnam war was, you have benefited. You would not be enjoying fun in the sun in Thailand, because Thailand most certainly would have fallen to the Chinese backed communist insurgents.

So you're avoiding the question. Which in reality confirms your moral values are on par with those tyrannical regimes.

If it means stopping a bunch of Islamist nutcases (who call for the death of the West) from getting a nuclear bomb, then I guess you must be right.

Thanks, next question?

Meanwhile he was able to stop the war in Gaza and has offered a roadmap to rebuild the place and to provide hope for its residents. When was the last time anyone came forward with a construction of civil society plan? Qatar and Iran were too busy funding suicide bombers. EU aid money was being stolen to finance Hamas mansions in Qatar and to build military infrastructure in Gaza. Who do you think financed the military bunker and tunnel system in Gaza?

Has the war in Gaza really stopped?

As for the reconstruction of Gaza, among other flaws, the plan stipulated that it would be managed by Trump's Board of Peace. It is to laugh.

Also, as has been reported many times, Israel helped Qatar bring funds into Gaza.

The money Israel was obliged to allow into Gaza was supposed to be for humanitarian aid and to pay salaries. Qatar has paid its bounties to hamas in Gaza. had israel blocked this money you would be the first to complain of horrific conditions and starvation etc. Hamas has used european channels to distribute this funding. No matter what israel does, it will never be good enough for you.

Ok, so the Trump plan for gaza isn't perfect. it may even need to be adjusted. At least it is a starting point and offers a positive roadmap. Who else ever came up with a civil society plan for Gaza? There is now a Palestinian Arab group in place to administer civil functions in Gaza. Unfortunately, Hamas is refusing to hand over power to the group as was agreed.

The fact is the money Israel paid into Gaza freed up money Hamas would have had to spend.. And the reason Israel allowed that money into Gaza was to prop up Hamas against the PA.

The plan isn't perfect? How about it's grandiose. Starting with the fact that the Board of Peace, over which Trump has pretty much dictatorial powers, would be the funding agency. How many ballrooms does Gaza need?

What you also fail to note is the the transient governing authority is supposed to be operating under the aegis of the PA. Netanyahu has specifically said that the PA is to have no future in Gaza. He's also opposed to the Board of Peace. Not because there's a dictatorial loon in charge, but rather because Qatar and Turkey are members.
