New Epstein documents surface with unverified claims involving Trump

Featured Replies

Previously withheld documents from the United States Department of Justice linked to the investigation of financier Jeffrey Epstein have been released, including FBI interview summaries containing unsubstantiated sexual assault allegations involving U.S. President Donald Trump.

The documents emerged after media reports suggested several files connected to the investigation were missing from the department’s public database, prompting accusations from Democrats that material had been withheld.

Justice Department officials said the omission was the result of a technical mistake during the review process. According to the department, the documents had been “incorrectly coded as duplicative,” which meant they were inadvertently excluded when earlier batches of Epstein-related material were released.

Interview summaries detail claims

The newly released material includes three FBI memoranda summarising interviews conducted in 2019 with a woman who made allegations involving both Trump and Epstein.

According to the interview summaries, the woman told investigators she had been introduced to Trump by Epstein during the 1980s when she was a teenager. She alleged that both men sexually assaulted her when she was between 13 and 15 years old.

The documents make clear that the claims were not corroborated. Investigators recorded the allegations as part of their inquiries but there is no indication they were substantiated or that further investigative steps were taken.

The files indicate that the Federal Bureau of Investigation did not maintain further contact with the woman after the interviews.

It also remains unclear whether Trump and Epstein were in contact during the specific period in which the alleged incidents were said to have occurred.

White House rejects allegations

The White House dismissed the claims after the documents were made public.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the allegations were “completely baseless” and unsupported by credible evidence.

“As we have said countless times, President Trump has been totally exonerated by the release of the Epstein Files,” she said in a statement.

Leavitt also argued that the previous administration under Joe Biden did not bring charges because investigators determined there was no wrongdoing.

Trump has consistently denied any misconduct connected to Epstein. He has not been accused of crimes by individuals who have publicly identified themselves as survivors of Epstein’s abuse network.

Thousands of references in documents

The broader collection of Epstein records released by the Justice Department includes thousands of references to Trump in emails, correspondence and other documents.

However, most references appear in routine communications involving Epstein and his associates rather than formal accusations.

The files also contain lists of allegations submitted to the FBI’s national Threat Operations Center tip line. These tips include claims involving Epstein, Trump and other prominent figures, but many appear to be unverified reports from callers and often lack supporting evidence.

Justice Department officials previously acknowledged that some submissions contained sensational or inaccurate claims.

Following an earlier document release in January, the department said some tips referencing Trump had been submitted shortly before the 2020 election and were considered unfounded.

Questions raised over missing files

The newly disclosed memos surfaced after reporting by U.S. media organisations, including NPR and The New York Times, suggested the interview summaries had been omitted from earlier releases.

Indexes and serial numbers within the released archive indicated that the FBI had conducted four interviews with the same woman in 2019 during its investigation of Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Maxwell was convicted in 2021 and sentenced the following year for sex trafficking offences connected to Epstein’s abuse operation.

But three interview summaries and related notes — amounting to more than 50 pages — were not initially available in the Justice Department’s online database, prompting questions about whether material had been withheld.

Congressional scrutiny intensifies

The handling of the files has also drawn attention on Capitol Hill.

A congressional committee recently voted to subpoena Pam Bondi, the U.S. attorney general, to answer questions about the Justice Department’s management of the Epstein document releases.

Members of the United States House Committee on Oversight and Accountability from both parties supported the subpoena request. Lawmakers approved legislation in November requiring the department to release records linked to its investigations into Epstein. Since then, millions of pages of documents have been made public.

Longstanding but complicated relationship

Epstein and Trump were known to have socialised for several years in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Trump has previously said the relationship ended after a dispute in the early 2000s, several years before Epstein’s first arrest in 2006 on charges related to underage prostitution.

The latest documents do not change the legal status of the allegations, but they have renewed political debate over the handling of the Epstein archive and the process used to review and release its contents.

I have been listening to the US Congressional hearings. They regularly indicate that DJT is in the "redacted files now unredacted for the Congress hearings" "millions of times. Other findings within those files indicate quite a bit of contact between Epstein and Russian intel officers and Putin even. Poland the congressman said has even opened an investigation about those intel collusions as well as others calling Epstein's quarters a regular honeypot where there were hidden cameras in every room. Amazing what now is being revealed and some of these revelations were obvious during DJT's first term and Rubio was head of the investigating committee which agreed with the Mueller findings of Russian influence in the 2016 elections. Now I guess the next to fall with be Bondi and wonder if she will ever be allowed to practice law again IMHO.

Trump has a lot to answer for, he had a two decade long friendship with Epstein, who said on record Don was his closest friend in the world. There's countless amounts of information about Trump having spent an inordinate amount of time at the mansion, and there are flight records showing that Trump flew many times with Jeff, and nobody knows what happened on those flights. And we know what his penchant was for "very young women".

When a Trump supporter is faced with a difficult situation and attempts to defend the indefensible they always resort to Biden, Obama, and Clinton. It's almost like there's a collective amnesia that takes place, wherein they forget who the current president is and where the real responsibility lies.

Have you also forgotten 18 months of promises to release the files?

Have you forgotten how many times he mentioned Biden covering up the Epstein files?

Isn't that exactly what he's doing now?

And why doesn't that matter to you anymore?

Will you guys please stop this nonsense, will you please stop insisting on the release of these files? I'm not guilty, I was never friends with Epstein, we were never close, we didn't hang out together, the photos of us with our arms around each other were all doctored, I didn't spend a lot of time at his mansion, I didn't take multiple trips to Orgy Island, I've never been with underage women, I've never sexually assaulted a woman, and I've never committed rape.

Can't you see how incredibly handsome and appealing I am? Why would I need to do that, all women want me, and I can just grab them by the pussy, just so just stop with the nonsense, and leave it alone.

I know I may have mentioned it several hundred times during the campaign, but I'm the king now, so you guys need to just forget it and behave like loyal subjects and show me alot of fealty. Behave yourselves.

There are some politicians that come along who are ignorant, thick-headed and just don't understand how politics work. Trump is one of them. Yes he was able to lie to and manipulate enough people to get elected twice, but he is simply not smart enough to handle his own PR. Like Bill Clinton, had Don just simply admitted that Epstein had procured many women for him over the course of their friendship (but insisted that they weren't underaged) it's very likely this thing would have just gone away.

Many Americans simply presume that he used Epstein's gals (though some of us presume they were likely underaged, making Trump a serial statutory rapist). But that cannot be proven so if he simply admitted that he got busy with Epstein and his gals this whole thing probably would not have stuck. After all, Trump is morally depraved and ethically bankrupt, so why wouldn't he have used Epstein's gals?

Like Clinton and his lies it just won't go away, and it does appear to be Trump's personal brand of Kryptonite. Sorry Don. Your guilt sticks to you like a very ugly and contagious disease. In your particular case you are very, very guilty until proven innocent, which will never happen.

Would be more interesting if these were something more than reports of totally uncorroborated allegations.

Once again, Biden couldn't release files while Maxwell was 1. Being tried 2. Appealing her sentence.

Anyway, the texts don't reveal much. Who has said thanks for the 12 year old?

It would be the videos of the Don pounding a 12 year old that are "hard" evidence.

Unverified claims?

Anonymous gossip.

This could have been brushed aside as "unverified"- if those documents hadn't been withheld ever so miraculously.

  • Popular Post

It seems there is a possiblitly files could be destroyed as this saga of Epstein continues. What we keep getting is unverified allegations, endless podcasts, commentaries and speculation. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to have several members of Congress, Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie at the head of a bipartisan team working with a staff to go through the files UNDREDACTED and make public files that are relevant but not unverified allegations. The Congressional team could also serve as a watch dog to be sure the files are not being deleted or tampered with (If it is not already too late for that). Unverified allegations could later be released if more information becomes available all under the auspices of the Congressional team.

This Epstein affair is of monumental importance, not only for the victims of Epstein but for all Americans and citizens of countries around the world. This may be the best chance we ever get to truly see who runs the world. Is there truly an elite of jet setters and billionaires who can navigate around the laws and rise above the standards the rest of us are subject to in every day life. Here is a chance to see it on paper.

How far does the tax evasion, fraud, and money laundering extend,to the point of robbing countries of tax revenue, possiblily stifling competition in world financial markets?

Doesn't it seem a bit unusual that Epstein was in a network with so many people in so many diverse professtions - Alan Dershowitz. Bill Gates, Noam Chomsky, and cast of hundreds.

The sexual abuse is the one part of this that people are not easily willing to forgive and forget.
It takes something this big to open the doors to the possiblity of reforms in sexual abuse statutes of limitation, fewer civil cases in sexual abuse of minors and more criminal investigations and adjudications, rather the fines, no jail time and nondisclosure agreements. We have already been duped by the way the Catholic Church covered for their priests. The lawyers for the culprits saw to it that the crimes stayed limited to civil cases. They did this by paying compensation to victims and demanding nondisclosure agreements. This assured them the cases remained in the civil courts so the outcomes are not on public record.

The time has come.

New Epstein documents surface with unverified claims involving Trump

Unverified. There's thousands of unverified or discredited files on plenty of people yet it's only the articles based around unverified claims (many through an anonymous hotline) about Trump that get ran. It will be a story if or when actual verifiable evidence is shown. Until this happens, and up until now it hasn't, this is basically on the same level as gossip. It must be said though in regards to this article that it clearly lays out the veracity or more to the point lack thereof of many claims. This of course will be ignored by those who suffer with Trump hatred.

One of the possible reasons why the orange retard started the war could be the Trump Epstein files.

He is desperately trying to distract the public in general, and his own increasingly disenchanted base from his involvement.

Why did you put this in your comment Mike. Trump did not say this.

The rest of your comment could be used fairly as an argument but that part is simply made up.

Alas the "release everything" comment raises it's irrational head once again. If there's children being abused that's been recorded (and it seems there is) should this be released to the public? Everything means everything.

yeah, if you see a lot of smoke you can bet there is a fire somewhere. When hundreds of women testify to the FBI about how they had sex with the old guys and then many of the old guys start to crumble with their defense. I myself do not believe that all these women are testifying that they had sex at a very young age even when they might have been receiving money or favors of some sort. Even if they did get something, it is still against our laws and the rich and powerful do not deserve to escape punishment IMHO. i also fault the parents of some of these girls too as they should have been watching a lot closer. Now we hear stories from some government officials not just the US but that Epstein was running a "honey pot" scheme and used cameras hidden throughout his abodes and even some claims of blackmail and lots of contact with Russian intel officials as well as with Putin. When DJT says "hoax" IMHO it definitely happened!! Listening to the Congressional committee members about the cover up not only in this administration but previous administrations too. Of course there are enough OLD farts as well as youngsters that come to this area for sex and seem to look for the younger ones versus the old ones so I don't think they even think that DJT did anything wrong, no matter what he did do.IMHO

Not at all. Just thought it was unnecessary in an otherwise decent comment. Misleading.

These files are keeping people too busy looking for the needles in the haystacks,

there are too many words that can be twisted , redacted, lied about.

What we need is photo's /video's of Trump and all the others showing illegal acts.

Then it is case closed , get your orange suit for prison.

Well there's released to lawmakers and released to the public.

You're right that in the public domain, releasing offensive images would not be correct. Literally if you click a link and open an image, you are automatically guilty of child pornography. There is no defence, only mitigation. In opening the image, you are automatically copying (reproducing) the image. Its what caught Paul Gadd.

But that's not what has happened, is it? There is select redaction of text and images. Some people's identities are revealed, others are not. Why do you think that has happened? FBI inefficiency; Kash Patel apparently tasked the FBI's specialist unit on Iranian terrorism on this, and then because they made apparent mistakes, he sacked them, literally days before the Iran War was not declared. Perhaps though, he wasn't party to that level of conversation. Still, counter terrorism agents tasked to a child abuse enquiry doesn't seem appropriate. I read of the police officers involved in such investigations are shaken by what they see, and suffer because of it. Needs a certain kind of righteous determination to be involved in such cases. COIN agents, on the other hand, are used to seeing gore photos, post terrorist outrage.

Release everything to lawmakers certainly.

The not release everything is just an excuse to redact and protect pedophiles and rapist. If a victim does not want their rape released then allow the victim to state they want a redacted version release hiding the victim only identify. Still release the pedo and rapist identity.

Allowing the pedophile to determine what to release is insane and totally unfair. Especially when the attorney general and Orange face and the Pedophile Administration are all over the photos and emails of Epstein.

MAGA cult are the rapist and pedophile pervert protectors. Wear that Red pedophile hat while you protect your Pedophile orange face President and at least six members of his Pedophile Administration.

You seem to forget that Dear Leader already has 26 cases of alleged sex misconduct and rape 'under his belt'.

Those aren't just reports—they're 'totally uncorroborated allegations,' right?

Seems one is the 2016 defamation case where Jane Doe or Katie Johnson accused him of raping her at age 13, supported by witness-verified and corroborated by Tiffany Doe.

Totally uncorroborated and now withdrawn, including that by so called Jane Doe/Katie Johnson who, it turns out, never actually existed. The whole Epstein files drama is a fiasco and a waste of time. Find something else to moan about.
