Bear in mind TACO is nothing else if not inconsistent, and his threats really don't mean anything anymore. Iran is likely waiting and ready for his next move. Trump plays 2D chess.

Assuming he knows who he was talking to.

It might have been any of the regional leaders who knew Iran would wipe out their critical water supplies if Trump attacked Iranian power systems.

I guess they could have threatened to stop doing business with him. 'But the most likely explanation is that he could see this isn't playing well in the USA and if it gets any worse, the Republicans are going to be toast.

I seriously doubt he is permitted to be allowed to hear most info he does not want to hear.

Hence he is fed Big Mac info .

But sometimes someone chucks a bit of reality into the burger !

Rich in black humor!

Poor in realism.

No, the UN charter the U.S. helped draft and signed up applies.

Being called a fascist by a Trump lickspittle is something of a compliment.

According to the Constitution, treaties are the supreme law of the land. According to fascists, not so much.

You are friends with Scott too?

Now imagine if you had inside knowledge on that.

Markets react to "dashed hopes". The markets are "hopeful" currently. For once, no inside knowledge necessary.

I'm not foolish enough to believe that nationality is some sort of guarantee of knowledge. For iinstance, apparently there are Americans who don't know that the Constitution specifies that treaties are the supreme law of the land. They think that abiding by a treaty is fascism. Can you believe that there are alleged Americans out there who subscribe to that nonsense?

You’re not coming across as very confident things are going your way, let alone in control of your emotions.

I expect the one begets the other.

The Constitution is the supreme of the land. A treaty cannot override the US Constitution.

The United States Constitution provides that the president "shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur" (Article II, section 2). Treaties are binding agreements between nations and become part of international law. Treaties to which the United States is a party also have the force of federal legislation, forming part of what the Constitution calls ''the supreme Law of the Land.''

Iran has just claimed: "There are no negotiations taking place".

Donald conducting "Phantom Negotiations"?

Correction: Iran confirmed negotiations (newsflash).

But the Iran qualified it as basically a "surrender" of the US. The Iranians know how to spell TACO.

You said Treaties are the supreme law of the land. Which is not true. The US Constitution is the supreme law of the land.

I knew you would argue for the sake of it.

Yes I said it. And you know where else it says so...in the Constitution of the United States of America. Maybe you thought that James Madison and company were joking when they wrote that? Maybe you should hold a seance and see if that's the case. In the meantime, I'm going to go with what is written in the Constitution rather than accept the override of an anonymous member of aseannow.com. It is to laugh.
