So it's time to buy a car, and since it's come down to a Toyota Vios or a Honda City I decided to do my homework before allowing myself the pleasure of trying to do it by driving around and asking.

Toyota has an excellent page on their website that describes the differences between the various grades, but I could not find an equivalent on Honda's site. So, unless your search skills are better than mine and you can provide me with a direct link, could you please describe the differences between the City "A", "V", "SV AT", and "SV AT(AS)" which are the models I see listed on this page.

Thank you.

The ALL NEW City is here in September..

Re- "In the new Jazz I have been informed the sequential is a new five speed paddle shifter instead"

My info is: The All New Jazz has a more powerful engine and the old 7speed CVT was not used for the launch, insteed the Civic five speed paddle shifter is used untill the all new 7 speed CVT is ready later this year.. [Test reports in Japan on the Fit/Jazz last month the new Jazz with the Civic gearbox = the engine is much noiser at high speeds]

For those of use with the 7speed CVT there was a FREE 80,000 baht, upgrade last year because of a fault on some, this cost Honda millions, so they want to be sure the all new 7speed CVT is fault free before fitting to the Jazz, it is thought that the all new 7speed CVT will be ready and in the All New City

What are the details of this? My mom's 2003 Jazz CVT has always felt like it was in the wrong powerband or something, and at times has revved high into nowhere at normal speeds. When ABS is activated it makes a funny noise like it suddenly jumped into a gravel road.
