I'm thinking Palawan. It's far from my family and relatives. I'm independent.

Still not sure exactly where in Palawan so I'll just fly there, find a hotel and stay for about a week or so while I look for an apartment there. I'll be starting the business in January. The dates jump back and forth and it's driving me nuts!

The rebels are in a small area that isn't highly populated. I always thought that they could 'fix' that problem in a few days time if they wanted too. Now, I think I know why they don't. If they get rid of all the rebels the funds stop pouring.

Actually the NPA (New Peoples Army), which is a Communist insurgency group, is operating in the outskirts of Davao. They've been creating quite a bit of mischief in the past few months. But you are right, the Abu Saayef is primarily operating in the Sulu Islands and the <deleted> are located in the Zamboanga area. Of course the <deleted> has been in negotiations with the government over territorial rights on Mindanao so they have not been active lately. That could change at any time since peace negotiators from Malaysia have announced they are withdrawing from the talks in August.

The NPAs aren't only concentrated in Mindanao. They're all over the place in small groups. They remind me of Robinhood and his merry men sometimes. The easiest way to bring them down is 'educating'. People in villages needs to be educated so they stop supporting these group. These people come to remote villages asking for money, fines, farm produce, etc. They're know to kill those who don't support them. People usually give them what they want coz their life is important.

Before I "drowned to life in BKK" I was a little politically active but, not that extreme. I was an activist back then. I remember being recruited for the NPA group as I was a constant dean's lister in my University. Then that unfortunate thing in Bohol happened. The new NPA recruits (students) went to Bohol for a meeting and they were caught in the cross fire and died. They were smart students but..........

Yeah, WoW is awesome. I've got a lvl 45 toon there (druid) and a lvl 15 (hunter). I won't be working for 5 months or so when I go to PI (but I still get paid btw) so I'm gonna try to hit lvl 60-70 before then. Bought the expansion pack so it should be fun! Trying to get into STORM guild. We'll see how it goes. I'm currently in the RABBIT's LOVE guild. Yeah, it's quantity over quality for now!
