A MAN caught sniffing women’s ARMPITS has been sentenced to 14 years in jail and 18 strokes of the cane for molesting his victims.

It was reported the 36-year-old, from Singapore, was mentally unstable and had previous convictions for drug and sex-related offences.

He molested 23 women over the course of 15 months, smelling their armpits and touching them in lifts, staircase landings and their homes.

He was caught after a housewife reported him to the police.

It was claimed the court handed out a jail term, normally reserved for hardcore criminals because the man was likely to commit crimes again.

OP this has to be a joke right? Firstly I have been reading the Singapore papers all week and have not come across this story. (I note you don’t state your source). Secondly this sentence is absolutely absurd even for Singapore. 18 strokes of the cane spread out over 14 years? Why that’s only 1.3 lashes per year – hardly a deterrent to this most heinous of crimes.

I know Singapore has been getting all liberal of late but this is going too far! Decent law abiding citizens, like myself and my good lady wife, need protection from the armpit sniffers!
