Wow, well I will have to forego the ten pints of lager and falling off the curb. But, hey, cheers anyway :)

While I wish you a good time in your travels sbk, is there any reason why your upcoming adventures are spread across two threads?

......like nickers and bras, add flavour.

Gofrit, LB.

Sorry for wandering off a bit but for those not in UK have a look at the PG Tips advert. Funny. http://www.pgtips.co.uk/

Yes I am sure my tea bags will fit quite snugly along side SBK's collection of leather gear and whips. :)

When in the pub try the great British pub snack of a packet of salt-n-vinegar crisps (chips) with a pickled egg. Drop the egg in the packet with the crisps and shake around a bit :)

The Brits will have a simulator at the next world's fair. :)

Hey LB if I'm bringing Thaddy his Jaffa cakes then I'm sure I can squeeze in some tea bags for you.

Which will have been designed by Mister Cholmondey-Warner who wears corduroy trousers and a jacket with leather patches on the elbows :)

And don't forget about 'the unpleasantness'

(there's a Nurse Diesel lookalike in that one)

JAFFA CAKES ..... love 'em.

Luxury treat for us in NZ.

Wonder how much they are in UK.

I buy them here for.......

Single pkt - $NZ4.69 = £1.93

Twin Pkt - $NZ7.95 = £3.26

Most of McVitties bickies around the $4 - $5 a pack here.

Be interesting to see the difference.

Anybody help, it would be appreciated.

Ta heaps.

Can't but jaffa cakes (or I haven't found any) here in Saudi. They do a similar thing but cost over £2 a packet :)

York. You must go to York sbk :D It's loverley

Hey SBK, have a great trip! Give me a buzz if you fancy Cambridge. I'm sure I can keep one of the spare rooms above the pub, free for you if you need it!

Will do. I have no plans set in stone, so will let my travels take me where I fancy. Its not like places are that far apart, so I just might take you up on your offer :)

too many bloomin' students on push bikes...always hadta knock over a couple in me car when drivin' in from the site in Lincolnshire an' tryin' t'get to the rail station at the weekend...

If you want an authentic English Saturday Night Experience you need to drink 10 pints of lager followed by a Doner Kebab and chips. Yum!

You forgot the falling over, cracking your ribs and scuffing you face.. or the falling off a kerb and breaking your foot... or is that just me.. ? :)

Totster :D

alternatively you can dispose all the lagers, doeners and chips under the back seat of a taxi...

And the railway station has a car park for a hundred cars - a forecourt with five thousand push bikes locked to street lamps

from dodging the mess on the pavement while walkin' to the bus stop in Derby city center on a Monday morning I'd say that all of the above items are consumed and regurgitated in equal amounts... :D

Well, that at least shows that the culinary diversity of the UK is improving. :D

And apart from Boiled Moose balls, what exactly are the culinary delights that Canada can offer to the world :D

Come on, Moose Balls are only for the elite...even the yanks know that :)

Us proletarians are stuck with boatloads of fresh salmon, lobster, prawns, and some of the best beef in the world (if it wern't for the bloody kiwis).
