Michael Jackson's posthumous movie/documentary

This Is It is now showing in Phuket, two weeks after its worldwide release.

PHUKET: The Michael Jackson documentary This Is It is now showing at the SFX Coliseum cinema in Central Festival Phuket, an SFX spokesperson has confirmed.

The announcement follows news last month that Phuket cinemas could not show the digital version of the movie upon its worldwide release on October 28 as none of the theaters had the digital projection equipment required.

However, an SFX spokesperson confirmed that SFX Coliseum cinema today began showing the only celluloid version in Thailand of This Is It.

This Is It will be shown five times a day for the next two weeks, the spokesperson said.

The movie is in English with Thai subtitles. For showing times or further information visit the website sfcinemacity.co.th and select the Phuket link under 'Today's Showtimes'. Alternatively, call the cinema on 076-209 042.

I'm going to wait for the DVD box set complete with an icon like a piece of MJ's undies or nose hair. I'm sure I'll be able to get an "authentic" version from one of the stalls off of suk in BKK. :)

saw it last week.

It was sensational .....................

No matter what you thought about his sexual preferences

Michael Jackson was a sheer musical genius.

I would have paid 10x the price of the ticket to

see this very interesting insight into how serious

he was about his performances ............................

He was never convicted and the evidence in the case didn't support the accusations.

You might not like him, but the fact of the matter it that there is a high chance he was being a target by money-hungry parents. (As seen in the last case.)

"Money-hungry parents" notwithstanding, the fact of the matter is that any grown man who has all but transformed himself into Diana Ross and openly chooses to sleep with little boys, then, to escape "the heat", abandons his multi-million dollar mansion and "flees" to Bahrain, where apparently the kind of thing he's really into (pederasty) is legal, speaks quite loudly about what Jacko was really about.

You can't deny these facts. Period.

But, people will believe what they want to believe...

My contrarian view:

-- he was probably not a pedo (he used to hang with McCauly Kaulkin and Kaulkin swears nothing happened, that says it all)

-- he had a skin disease, the becoming white was a medical condition

-- he did like to socialize with boys (check his psychological past)

-- he was a weirdo but that doesn't make him a criminal

-- he did not "flee" to Bahrain, he went there after being fully cleared of serious charges (as above, never convicted)

-- his talent was amazing

-- this movie was absolutely HORRIBLE, don't waste your money, he doesn't use his full voice, he was saving it as these were rehearsals

I liked the close up view. I didn't see it as a concert , but a view into the preparations and hard work put into the production.

A lot of talent surrounded him, sad they didn't get their chance to do their tours of concert of perhaps their lifetime too...
