November 12, 201015 yr I'll be down for the Bang Saen and Hua Hin Bike Weeks. Hope the organizers can get some good bands as entertainment. Asanee/Wasan or Lam Morrison perhaps. Don't really want to have to sit through another Carabao set.
December 6, 201015 yr I went to the Chiang Mai Bike Week and to be honest I was a bit disappointed. Admittedly, I might be a bit jaded by the events that I have been to in Australia. I was kind of expecting a bit more than half a dozen or so vendor tents and some food and beverage tents. t thought there might be a bike show of sorts, but it was more a case of going for a stroll in the car park to check out some rides. i would have thought that some of the local dealerships would have supported the event but I don't recall seeing any: no Honda, no Kawasaki, no Yamaha etc. Maybe a show like this isn't representative for their advertising. I have a feeling that I may have it all wrong and that the idea of CMBW was to show what ya brung. I certainly saw some beautifull choppers parked halfway down Loi Khro road. Some of these bikes were definitely worthy of being under the spot light with admiring onlookers. In closing I would probably think my trip down and back with my buddies was all good fun. Got to have a stroll around the night market. So perhaps CMBW was a success and achieved its intended purpose perhaps of a meet & greet tyre deal. cheers Garry

Fair enough, this year's party was downsized from the ones held the last two years because the big bike importers didn't feel they made any money off of the previous events. Up to them of course whether they want to come or not. CMBW is not about just one club putting on a party but all the clubs in and near Chiang Mai doing their very best to entertain our visitors. Formulate Hell kicked it off on 27 November with their party then three different parties on the 3rd. This weekend is Lampang as well as another party here in Chiang Mai sponsored by the Red & Gold Motorcycle Club. Hope to see you again next year.
December 14, 201015 yr Hi Y'all, I know that there is something happening in Phuket at Sapan Hin 17th and 18th called Big Bike Show? or similar. There was a small snippet in the Gazette last week, but nothing since. If anyone knows please let us all know. Finding information at the moment is not real easy. Maybe things will come together after the first. There has to be a bike week every weekend unless something really changed from the past, Good idea when we get a bit more to work with
