The Chaophraya river is a great place to escape from the concrete jungle of Bangkok. Breezes and waves and boats of every description.

 I always remember the express boat from Nonthaburi pier all the way down to Taksin bridge at Sathon. A journey that begins with lush green on both sides of the river and ends with condos, hotels and office blocks towering on both sides. The whistles from the lad at the end of the boat to the driver regarding directions to reach the pier.
