My education visa extension expires Monday and my 90 day report is up, I'm in Lad Phrao, 0.70m of water in my soi and roads and all the junctions from me heading up to immigration are flooded. It's impossible for me to get there .... and RAMA 2 is starting to get water so I can't go to hua hin even if they let me mad.gif

Anyone know what to do or have a number for immigration? (I can speak thai, real student)

The problem is being flooded in and not being able to go anywhere. And when local post offices are closed due to the flooding, even 90 day reporting is impossible by boat.

I think Thai Visa should ask the Immigration to relax the rules until it is practical to comply with them.

So If I get this straight Lopburi, I can go to Chamchuri Square Buliding (Or is it the immgiratipon Bureau Soi SuanPlu ?) on Monday? And get my education visa extension and do a 90 day report? Do you know the opening hours?

I will have to get wet and get motorboat in my soi, then a bus and either taxi or/and MRT to get there, fuc_king great huh.

Thats if the buses are still running, many are turning back already and it's getting worse day by day.

I left Pahon Yothin road on Thursday of last week. The water came very quickly, but I guess not unexpectedly. In my rush to get out, I forgot my passport. I thought about telling immigration that I left my passport at home and could they give me some leeway. Then I thought about concocting a story of being stuck in the floods in the wilderness. In the end. I chose neither. I knew for a fact that it would fall on deaf ears - even if the latter story was true.

I took it on the chin and went back to my place to get my passport. It was a pain in the arse, but I'm glad it's done.

I do feel for you if you're stuck in the floods, but at the end of the day, immigration are the last people you should expect any sympathy from. Just get it done.

I did and if I answered this one they would probably soak me in benzine before they flamed me!

Make your 90-day report by mail.

You just need the EMS recipe that you have sent it before your reporting date.

Good one, All Post Offices in my area have been closed for weeks, last post received around the Villages were I live was 7 weeks ago = Post NOT a option for many

I only ever get bills anyway, just out of interest, phoned the following, Hutch, water, True, Electric, Mortgage Bank, ALL said NO payments for 2 months and Mortgage Bank said Free for 3 months..
