I dunno how true this is, but my Thai friend that lives in BKK said she heard on news that authorities will impose and 2am curfew on all Bars and Clubs for NYE, unless this is just the usual media propaganda BS that is fed on TV, but what will really be the case for this NYE?

I only ever done NYE at the beach cities like Phuket, Pattaya etc and never in BKK, so wondering from anyone's past experience what is the usual closing time for clubs etc? thanks

Well that's a bit vague considering every night in Bangkok is a totally different night to any other.. This recent early club closures has only being in place since about a month after Yingluck moved into office, was never really the case before that... clubs like Shock34, Narz, Bossy, etc etc, would close well after 4am... now I dunno what the heck is going to happen for NYE, if they will turn a blind eye considering it's new year....who knows? TIT!!! :S
