...Sorry I cannot take on the job.....If the cheerleaders didn't finish me off my wife would.

... and none of that talk about being finished off by the cheerleaders either.

Get a grip, man!

Maybe as our fitness consultant JT will take you in hand

If I didn't know him to be such a fine gentleman, I would suggest he is planning something sinister and his defence in court will be that she told me to "go straight ahead"...

Would have liked it but ...

You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day

Nice.....we have our own translator for internationals

Good for Viet ... but nothing for the border clashes for Malay ... one moment!

OK ... a few moments later ...

For international relations two candidates come to mind ...

Miss Malaysia Earth 2010, so now at least 1 year out her job and ...

Probably more my pick ... Miss-Malaysia-Deborah-Priya-Henry-Miss-World-2007 ... being 5 years out her role, she maybe more hungry for such a challange.

What does Kevjohn think?

I thought I'd better bone up a bit about cricket, in case it gets technical...

I seem to remember Dickie Bird had a special signal he used to give, when awarding arbitrary extra runs - I'd thought it meant "leg-by"

but realise now that it means "I'll be expecting a cheerleader on this knee later..."

Or possibly it was a gesture aimed at teams with only one knee.

I've still got a lot to learn...

I meant -- she seems very ambitious and focussed on getting where she's going.

I imagine her pleasing countenance will stand us in good stead with the gentlemen of the Royal Thai Constabulary

I am sure that they will stand up to salute as we pass

I hope we do not have to wear tight white replicas of the police uniform.

I want to know if she can bowl

Maybe she is a swinger

She might have good wrist action

She probably bends her elbow for extra speed

I wonder if she has good rhythm

I am sure she can produce considerable bounce

I'm glad we're back to a good, clean, healthy focus on the cricket

Let's keep it that way, lads

I think she should bowl for us; the opposing batsmen would struggle to concentrate

In this regard, do people think a chest-on or side-on bowling technique would be more effective?

Nice to have her as a wicket keeper too.

and I am sure she is a really nice person too and will be nice to have meaningful conversation on the long rides to the games.

She could catch the ball without using her hands

Boys .. I know it's a Saturday Afternoon, but let's not let our standards 'slip' and get caught out being silly ... mid-on or where ever!

But the recent comment does pose the question ... will Thailand adopt more liberal standards or more moral standards as they adopt Cricket as part of their everyday life?

I have been thinking more about this (as I assume have all of you)

I am starting to think it might actually be difficult given the normal trajectory of the ball

Deflecting it to first-slip (maybe even third man) might be easier

I did do my best to find a graphic representation of what you were referring to brit1984, but unfortunately I came up with a bouncer ... short!

I think we should delay talk of your balls coming up short till after 10.30, when the kids will all be safely tucked up watching superleague

[(L) Rugby: English Super League Showing at 23:30 on Eurosport Warrington Wolves v Widnes Vikings.].

Its actually a 10 pm (THAI) kick-off, but the broadcast starts at 10.30...
