It's a good thing for English football that the CL places get shared around a bit more. Personally I think Arsenal are long overdue a European holiday ( I know, there's the Platini Plate aka the Europa League but that should be for smaller clubs) and it looks as if they may get one next year..... along with United.

But whereas Arsenal have never exceeded expectations for several seasons United have always been there or thereabouts. They will be a big miss like Barca, Real, Bayern or Chelsea would too but the CL impinges far too much on the domestic season for the rest of the clubs who cannot play when the precious CL is in town.

oh he was, cech was outstanding for a while. never felt like he won matches on his own though like schmeichel did.
