Tippaporn
Most people will recognize this number from Quentin Tarantino's 1994 Pulp Fiction. Dick Dale and The Deltone's 1963 hit Misirlou. Dick Dale pioneered the surf music style and was considered the King Of the Surf Guitar. He also worked with Leo Fender to produce the first 100-watt guitar amplifier.

Ah, well!! Who knows where the time goes??? Fairport Convention's classic with Sandy on vocals . BTW, nice selection of early Dave Edmunds (as usual). bannork
Great driving music. I'd better be careful, I don't want to appear on one of those TV clips featuring reckless drivers.

The way I drive I'm amazed to still be alive. Forget roller coasters . . . just come drive with me if you're into thrills, LOL.

Tippaporn
Or the Aussie band, Chain, formed in 1968? Getting very obscure here.

Tippaporn
Some Chicago blues by Luther Allison in 1972. One of the familiar acts to be seen in the blues bars during those days.
Tippaporn
The incomparable Peter Green after almost 8 years of obscurity after departing Fleetwood Mac in 1970. This one off his solo 1979 LP, In The Skies.

Thanks for these fine boogie tracks you've posted here. I had a haircut yesterday. What an error! Long hair is essential for boogie dancing. Rock till you drop I may have been working hard during the past 3 months but I was at the same time searching for gems on YT which I could post once I had cleared my mountain of work. Those two tracks from Chain and Carson came at the expensive of sifting through a lot of mediocre Aussie bands from that era. In the end it was worth the effort. Rory was a most exceptional artist. Hard to find any of his work that is subpar. Phenomenal guitarist. My hair is still draping my shoulders . . . if only in old photographs, LOL. Here's another faded hard blues band from 1977, this one from Germany. Disappeared from the scene after only a single album. Certainly made some very listenable music. bannork
I remember Bakerloo TP, especially the dramatic album cover. I remember them primarily from the Harvest sampler- Picnic- A breath of Fresh Air which included this gem from Kevin Ayers 1
