Nice to see the (nowadays) skinny dancers.Looking at woodstock videos you also see skinny people, that used to be normal.

What went wrong?

Junk food. Nowadays you can't get past shoppers in the aisle in the UK. Have to detour to the next aisle and double back,

More chins than in a Chinese phone book.555555....

Fast food.

A bit of an OT rant but I remember it was difficult to find a McDonald's when I first arrived in Thailand in '01.  Last weekend we took a trip into the city and parked the car at the Tesco on Sukhumvit by the On Nut sky train station.  Walking to the station I saw a full sized McDonald's in the Tesco mall, another one in the building directly opposite the one in the Tesco mall, and once we got to the top of the stairs leading into the station there was a third McDonald's, albeit a kiosk type, as soon as you entered the station.  Pissed me off!

I grew up in the States and recall when McDonald's were a novelty in my youth.  And as the years went by they were literally everywhere.  I was quite happy when I first came to Thailand to be rid of all of the incessant fast food chains that had taken America over.  These days in Thailand I doubt there is a single mall, whether in Bangkok or any other city of notable size, that does not have a McDonald's as well as many of the other chains that are becoming absolutely prolific.  Perhaps it's just me but I find it disgusting.

I first heard Mott The Hoople on the wonderful Island Records sample,r Nice Enough To Eat- An absolute wealth of treasures.

Then I went to see them in Hull City Hall- tremendous,  Ian Hunter and Mick Ralphs were outstanding but the evening was mildly spoiled at the end when the local skinheads decided to set upon me as I got off the last bus-' Fookin ippy, lez gerrim!'

Luckily my sneakers left them trailing far behind as they  clattered  along in their bovver boots. Several of them were from the notorious Gumby family.

I liked that speedy version of Hey Joe by The Standells, Tippaporn

The Stones-so good from the early sixties to the late seventies.

I used to love asking for a request and heading into a booth.

Agreed, bannork.  I have to admit I liked the Stones moreso than the Beatles.

Hard to beat this . . .

Or this . . .

Yikes!  Good you weren't wearing clogs, LOL.

Thanks for the At The Crossroads tune.  Haven't heard that fav of mine in a long time.  I think it's one of the sweetest Mott songs . . . always thought it a bit melancholy, which I appreciated.

Here's the return . . .
