Finishing Concrete Floors

Featured Replies

Just finished building a house with bare grey concrete floors. It's not been done really professionally but OK. The floors are quite smooth, a bit unevenly shiny but not pristine in finish - so may need to fill a few small imperfections and also seal and finish it.

I would like to know how I can finish it off - I've looked at all the products in Home-Pro, Boontavon etc but I seem to get different advice from the service staff. I'm looking for a nice gloss or semi-gloss finish so the floor will clean easily. I don't mind if I have to change colour or not as long as the finish is good and durable.

The problem is I'm trying different products and they don't sell them in small batches so it's costing a fortune just to try things out - if someone has pics of their floors it would help enormously to make up my mind.

Plz advice only from those who have finished off their own floors or had it done - and please only with those named products they can buy easily in Thailand.

Most floors here get tiled, very agreeable in this climate and hygienic. I think I paid around ฿200.- a M2 including materials, I may be wrong.
