From 1945 until now the cemetaries in Libya of the Allied fallen have been maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (peviously the Imperial WGC).

Although the German cemetaries were desecrated many years ago, a new memorial outside Tobruk was built and contains all the names of the fallen inscribed on black marble - similar to the VietNam wall in Washington, but housed in a copy of a desert fort.

Now the people who overthrew Muammar Gaddaffi have shown their love of the countries that put them in power ...
