Come along

Featured Replies

Hey guys I am looking for a handy come along tool. Has anyone seen one of these here in Thailand? I am just starting my search so no I have not looked in the usual local places here in my area. I am located in Ban Chang near Rayong and Pattaya. I know there are plenty of places to look but before I do some driving I thought I would post here first.

Heres a photo of what I want. 2 ton should be strong enough for my needs

Yeah! Ha! I think the rating on the tons of pull is a bit more than I need

I've seen them with braided straps. not cable. They use them to secure loads on trucks. Might try a truck dealership. But I don't know where you would purchase one. Great for stretching long runs of chain link or barbed wire fencing.

Only seen the chain type.

Not much good to you, but if you are driving into Map Taput from Ban Chang just before the centre of town look right and there is a large shophouse complex with Kasikorn bank at the front.

Inside the complex is a shop with comealongs and chain blocks, all kinds of lifting gear.

Unfortunatey I was looking for something else, so paid no attention to the exact location plus it was around a year ago.

Global House and Thai Watsadu carry these in my area. I haven't looked at load capacity on come alongs, but these outlets also have 1-5 ton chain hoists.

Hey thanks for the feedback and ideas on where to look. RC is easy to check as it's just up the street. The Maptaput shop is next in distance and Global and Thaiwatsadu are not too far either and I will be in that area next week

Thanks again.
