CityNews - Two policemen, Puttisan Inta (driver) and Pakorn Klongnum, were involved in an accident on March 15th at around 8 a.m. at Thapae Gate. Both men suffered serious injuries, and Parkorn later succumbed to his injuries.

The men had been travelling in a Toyota pick-up (Hilux Vego) when the truck hit an electricity pole close to the city moat, north of Thapae Road.

Doesn't look like too big of a crash all things considered; passenger compartment still fully intact.

Possibly some of the thought about catching people without helmets should have gone to into using seatbelts for themselves.
