Nice try, won't work. 1. Patchy enforcement. 2. Won't enforce against anybody who seems remotely affluent or connected. 3. Not addressing the root of the problem. The problem is stray dogs and cats. 4. Unwillingness to put strays to sleep when they are sick, dangerous or unwanted. 5. Unwillingness to put the resources into rounding up strays, sterilising them or putting them to sleep. 6. Unwillingness to go after the traders and breeders of dangerous breeds. -

Crime Ayutthaya Restaurant Faces Frequent Searches After Refusing Bribe
Not all are corrupt but many are. We have a cafe and have police as customers ever week. They pay their bill, never ask for anything nor cause any issues. Other city officials from various departments also visit and we have never had any issue. I think its smart to video or record encounters like this and get the info on to social media as that seems to be the most effective way to get the situation looked at. It comes with other difficulties granted but unless people stand up to the corruption it wont stop. Thats one of the difficulties with Thais, most just go along with it as it's been happening for so long and they feel it wont change so just comply which just gives the green light to continue it. -

Visa run to Laos, always fine? No problem with TDAC
Seems really pessimist. In 2025 I stayed only 3 months in Thailand with a visa + 30 jours extension. My plan is to stay 9 months in Thailand so the next time I'll use airport safe service. -
