Koh Kood

Featured Replies

We are planning a visit to Koh Kood in August and would like some advice from anyone in the know. I was wondering if it is OK to visit other resorts on the island for dining even though we would not be residents? We were looking at the high end resorts.

Could anybody tell us where the best places would be to go and visit for some sort of life of a day and evening during this period.

Any other info about things worth doing or visiting would be much appreciated.

Thank you

August isn't a good time for Koh Kood, try around March or April.

Can you pls explain more why Aug is not good please ?

Apart from rain ans the South west monsoon where a chop can build up over the gulf.

So the south west beach is not recommended for swimming then? Where would be the best place for swimming during that time of year (apart from the pool of course)?

Is there much of an evening scene at that time of year also?

Calmest water will be at Bang Bao Bay where 4 accommodations are located, expect no evening scene at all smile.png
