Stampede? Looked very orderly to me. It also looked like they have been herded before and knew where they were going.

All I could think of while watching was Peking Duck.

They send them into fields to eat pests on the crops. I thought they'd be all wiped out after the bird flue when they massacred all outdoor domestic birds, but obviously back again.

I've seen a lot of things in my life, but this video is truly amazing.

This actually made it on one of the network news channels here in the states last night, as well as a couple of syndicated news / entertainment shows.

Why do the drivers continue to attempt to drive forward rather than give room for the ducks to pass most quickly?

Because they are Thai drivers. Rather than wait 2 minutes they will push until stuck and spend 2 hours in a traffic jam, same everywhere.

Unfaithful husbands across Thailand all sweated and crossed their legs while watching that video.

No surprise.

I'd expect to see ducks on the web.
