Boutique Hotel & Conference Facility Recommendations in Phuket?

Featured Replies

I'm new to Phuket, but am looking for an intimate/classy location for a small conference/meeting for about 20-40 people in Phuket/Area

I'm thinking of a boutique style hotel. I have experience with this place in Singapore, so am hoping to find something similar to Changi Cove in Singapore.

I can bring along any conference supplies (projectors, whiteboards, etc) Just more concerned about a nice place for people to stay for 2-4 nights with adequate relax and meeting space for a smaller venue like us.

So, am hoping for some suggestions form all you more experienced folks! :)

Thank you in advance,

dh

perhaps something at boat lagoon or royal phuket marina ? or Cape Panwa ....

Have a look at royalphuketcity or metrople hotel if budget matters.

Thank you for the initial ideas. Will definitely take a look. Any other suggestions?

Twin Palms would also be perfect for this ..close to Surin Beach ....

Sorry for missing the day, and looking to book something for next June/July. :) I'm thinking I should have decent availability and rates then. These are two more great suggestions! Thank you.

Several times I went to the Phuket Comedy Show at The Holiday Inn in Patong.

They have a large function room, which can be made smaller using a divider door. There is a stage, should you require it.

I gather the PA, lighting etc was all The Holiday Inn's. They can also cater food and drink for your conference as well.

The hotel itself is nice, with all facilities, and a good location for the nightlife.

Just another option for you to consider.

If one of the meeting purposes is to bring the group closer together, as intimate request describes, then imho it's better to get out of the busy beaches and head somewhere else. Common activities, which everybody can participate might be good to include to the schedule.

Couple of hotels at North East of Phuket

Chandara hotel at Ao Por might be small enough with it's "own" beach and ability to visit the Phanga bay islands. http://www.chandara-resort.com/

Supalai Resort and Spa have some stunning views and well sized meeting rooms. http://www.supalaiphuket.com/

Then there are also the surrounding island next to Phuket. Koh Yao Yai, Koh Yao Noi, Koh Naka Yai. etc. Those islands offer 'out of the busy world' experience.
