Weird that a runoff will be started here when it was never mentioned earlier. I don't agree with changing the rules in the middle of the game. Even though when I become Poll Lord there will be a defined runoff system. But the details and schedule parameters will be clearly announced at the beginning of the contest. Not in the middle of it. This relates to why I objected before to adding new choices after the polling started. That was totally unfair to those who were nominated in the nomination period.

You can be certain when I am Poll Lord there will be no such corruptions of the integrity of this annual contest.

With regards to nominations ... maybe change to Nominations and acceptance ... that way you don't get members such as weegee and frollywolly and the few others who probably never wanted to be in the contest.

Secondly, and this may be seen as a negative comment but subtly a Forum rule is being well broken.
