i have a large room here in pattaya now , condotel ha decent pool etc. i pay 15k a month for it plus water / electric after that. is there anything you can recommend in hau hin for 1 - 2 months.

Try the Flame Tree behind the Bus Station on Soi 96, a friend of mine stayed there and said it was ok, think he paid 10k a month
