I believe the last figures show the junta with a 84% approval rating.....Feel it's far better now and not on the brink of civil war and toppling a country for no other reason other than one family wants to continue to plunder and rape the country for it's own personal gain.....ala Ferdinand Marcos style....

Right, the latest figures from a government funded poll in a country with censorship and where criticizing the government is banned and can result in an "attitude adjustment" show widespread support for the junta. Would you expect anything else?

You of course are correct. My question is if things are not done differently how can Thailand progress? They need to give up the fighting long enough to get things straighter. Still going to be a lot wrong but they will have a better chance at fixing things with out a dictatorship. As it stands now no body is getting hurt. Well the power hungry red shirt leaders and Shinawatra worshipers are. But they are a minority. This is a time for people to think of the greater good for the most people.

I would like to see a poll taken by a reputable pollster of the common red shirt followers (not the leaders) about how they feel. I would think that most of them are glad the tension is over and they can go on about their daily business.

"They need to give up the fighting long enough to get things straighter."

Too bad you couldn't tell that to Suthep before he set off the latest round of chaos.

"...they will have a better chance at fixing things with out a dictatorship."

Careful, you could be invited in for an attitude adjustment by Prayuth.

That's why I wanted to see an election in 2014.
