Cousin’s in fatal fight in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A 31 year old man was arrested in the early hours of Friday accused of murdering his cousin.

The incident occurred at their family compound off Soi Kaotalo in East Pattaya and resulted in the death of Khun Tongchai aged 44. Police arrested the victim’s cousin, Khun Chanachai aged 31, who was seen to walk back to his room and switch on the TV and then fall asleep as if nothing had happened.

Police were called by another family member, Khun Panida aged 21, who earlier saw the pair fighting. She saw the attacker use a strip-light fitting and pieces of corrugated roof sheeting to attack the victim. When he fell to the ground the attacker was seen to repeatedly kick the fallen man in the head until he was dead.

Scary indeed.

No remorse from the attacker, went back to watch TV and sleep.

Well now he will will have to do without the TV but he can sleep as much as he want.

Coldblooded killer, don't care about anything, hope he gets 20-30 years or worse.

Don't know what went wrong when he was raised, but it seems like a lot.

Don't waste money on a looser like that, take him down and hopefully in next life, he will be reborn as a better person/thing/animal.

Perhaps a dog? I give him some food as long as he behave. My dog is a nice dog man, much better than this scum and he don't attack people without reason but he protect his family vigorously and I love him for that.

Murders and killings happen all over the world, but what always puzzles me is the ease and casualty of killings in LOS.

Broad daylight, in front of witnesses, in front of camera's, over something as silly as 30 baht

Putting aside the Buddhist part of it, makes you wonder if the brains actually works or capable of understanding of the consequences to come.

the killer just came out of prison one year ago, for attempted murder, and propably wanted to go back to his friends.
if one has no money, live in prison is often better than outside, you can be a bodyguard for a rich inmate, get free drugs, have a normal live inside the jail, many girls available, all your friends there, basketball, tabletennis, even tennis sometimes,at least in manila bilibid prison, endless alkohol and drugs, tv, some slum-dwellers even change places with convicted rich people, and do 10 years in exchange for money.

"Cousin's" in the headline is incorrect use of the apostrophe. Should be "cousins" not "cousin's."

Just sayin'.

Not necessarily so. ‘Cousin’s in fatal fight’ could be construed as ‘Cousin is in fatal fight’, which would be correct given that only one was killed.

Besides which, if you really want to go picking on apostrophe misuse (including missing ones’) you could have a field day, every day right here on this forum.

Why have you chosen to pick on this one?

Just saying.
