clockman Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Coming to sort out the burning? No chance of that!
zaphod reborn Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I guess he wanted to personally give permission to K. Yingluck to order noodles. 2
khwaibah Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I guess he wanted to personally give permission to K. Yingluck to order noodles. So he is going to stop by San Kamphaeng and pay respects.
oneday Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I wonder if he let Yingluck know he was coming. I don't think he would be invited for a noodle lunch.
MILT Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 What a great opportunity for the Top Dog to see and breath the Great Northern air this time of year....or not..... 1
masuk Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I'll bet he doesn't try and walk around town on the footpaths..err m/sai parking areas.
rickirs Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I would have thought from all the NIDA and TRICHA surveys that 95%+ of Thais agree that the PM is doing a good job and are pleased with continued martial law. So shouldn't he have had a motorcade through Chiang Mai to let his admirers greet and shower him with flowers? Maybe he could have stopped to give them words of his wisdom and hope. Being the Head of Government in the second largest city in Thailand, I'd think he would be more receptive to the public. I am sure the public would have been very receptive of Gen. Prayuth. But it's not very practical for the army general to pass through town in a tank. So he should be excused for his oversight.
Docno Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Will the PM be wearing civilian clothes? Those ARE his civilian clothes! Notice the resemblance? [OK - one is prettier] 1
tigermonkey Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 How many visits is this for him to Chiang Mai, since he seized power ? Actually this one doesn't really count as a Chiang Mai visit - this trip is all about Royal Projects and a Privy Council tete a tete. Shortly, we should see the a NIDA poll stating that 81 % of northerners enjoyed his visit. 1
Johnny S Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Who cares about him - just another scamartist

The smog and visibility is so bad today that even if he did an open top motorcade drive through you might not see him.
