McFadden has really improved in the last year or two. In the last few months, he's scored a couple of spectacular goals for both club and country. I hope that he can stay clear of injury and shoot us to the Euro 2008.

granted, the french had plenty of the ball but they never really carved us open. we were so well organised.

I can remember 2 clear-cut chances they had - ribery pulled it back for anelka & ribery did a one-two with trezeguet before shooting. both chances were saved comfortably by the outstanding craig gordon.

A win is a win. Well done the Jocks.
