Equalizer Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 The picture speaks a thousand words look where his eyes are glued. Right on the button.
Tchooptip Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I thought those Chinese in Chiangmai were crazy ... Till I Googled naked bungee jumping... To find that it was done in hundreds of places in the world... So it is not only those Chinese! It is a whole part of the contemporary society that is crazy
orchidlady Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 TAT and the sports authority are missing out. What a great promotion for special themed nudist weeks(also open some under used public beaches in remote areas for nude bathing). The tourists from Germany and elsewhere would gladly pay big baht for such events.
aslimversgwm Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Looking forward to joining the next World Naked Bike Ride due next month in London. But as I live in Chiang Mai maybe we should ask the Governor if we can hold one here? Don't think I'll bother though!!
aslimversgwm Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I was a founding menber of the 1st WNBR in London which now attracts over 2000 riders every June and is replicated all over the world but not in the LofS. Against Thai culture. Get over it <removed>
PMZ Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I am not sure about the rules related to links, so I will not post the link, but on FB, see Kitsanas Chaertongchai
Thaddeus Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Is that a female? Where are the boobs? Closer to her chin I would expect.
MESmith Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 1000thb fine wouldn't cover the cost of the "raid" Perhaps the BiB were hoping for a re-enactment with lots of finger pointing...
Jim walker Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Thailand Fun police strike again a thousand baht would have been better to run someone over on the Thai road and kill them could have saved a few baht on the fine
Thaddeus Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I am not sure about the rules related to links, so I will not post the link, but on FB, see Kitsanas Chaertongchai Definitely female. (the girl on the rope that is)
SteveH Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 If they hadn't raided the place there wouldn't have been any publicity and very few people would have known about it, now it has had the opposite affect tons of publicity, a visit from the BIB and a quiet word to say don't let that happen again would have been far better.
Brian Robson Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Should've let her dangle for an hour or so This is probably more applicable to ladyboys!
burgdawg Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 ...the fear is that this idea might spread all the way to a cultural heritage zone, such as Pattaya! It would not take much to set proper rigging between a couple of ghost condos and charge for "nude bungee jumping along Talay." Perish the thought! Hide the children's eyes from this Family-Only muang! On second thought....nude bungee jumping at any beach in Sattahip or Koh Larn would help with sagging tourism. Or is that "drooping tourism?"
Lupatria Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Definitely a big deal in a nation where there are more naked and half naked girls in the bars than temples in the country. Welcome to the hub of moral morons.
WhizBang Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I think the company should be fined in the first instance. If there are repeats, they should lose their license and cease operations. In terms of the naked jumpers, they should be deported permanently. I can see that you will get on well in this forum with a sense of humour like that. Are you sure he's joking?

But something tells me that the Culture Minister would probably veto the idea, regardless of how popular such a promotion would be amongst certain tourists.
MESmith Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 just been on thai tv channel 3 news. 1000 baht for national tv advertising. money well spent
Sparkles Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 just been on thai tv channel 3 news. 1000 baht for national tv advertising. money well spent The fee for the so called "jump" was probably more than a 1,000 baht. More like a "dangle" than a jump ! The video will go viral of course.CM will be flooded with naked tourists. The moat would be a good site for a new operator.

elgordo38 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Was on private property, a "raid" was conducted... there sure are some mentally stunted indiviuals in charge here, "cultural council" what a joke. Round up them there bar girls. Lets really clean house. I never get to seem them anyway.
northernphil Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Raided the place the next day. Mr Wallop disgusted at people taking a jump in the nude. ' Pubic disgrace , hair today gone tonorrow ' Can you imagine the front page headlines in a Brit. tabloid.
elgordo38 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I think the company should be fined in the first instance. If there are repeats, they should lose their license and cease operations. I guess we are all jealous because our bodies are well past the point where we want to display them au natural. I know mine is as I have to belly up to the computer. Besides I am afraid of heights.
maxisrael Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 "The staff member said she wore a bathrobe going up to the jumping tower. After he assisted her to tie the bungee cord, she suddenly took off the bathrobe before leaping off the platform in the nude." Bull ! how can she take off her panty when the ankles are tied together ?? this is done before the cage is going up, have seen many times naked jumpers at the Jungle bungy Jump in Phuket ( I know I was there) so for sure this is not the first time.......................................or the last....
MaeJoMTB Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Found the photos on facebook, she looks good, didn't like the Japanese (Chinese?) character tattoos on her body though.
northernphil Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 From Hong Kong hmm ? Definately Chinese ; look at the red box .
misterphil Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Chiang Mai has been known for its cultural heritage and any act of public indecency would tarnish the provincial reputation, Wallop said. Are they having a laugh? What about all the ladyboys with their tits out around the Muay Thai ring at the open "public" bars. Oh but thats OK because ladyboys and muay thai isnt part of cultural heritage. Lol
evadgib Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Wearing knickers not only protects their modesty, it stops 'em whistling all the way down!
Docno Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I did a bungee jump a few years back near Chiang Mai. The place was called 'Jungle Bungee Jump'. Anyway, they had photos of past jumpers then, and not all of them were fully clothed. I remember one shot of Japanese doing a couple-jump in the nude. Of course, different if the image goes viral on social media. Probably would have been better for them had the woman been unattractive :-)
