Wondering if any of you guys have any ideas on designs for an inexpensive car port ? I have a small holiday home, it's not my primary residence so don't want to throw money at it ! Would be nice for a car or somewhere shadey to sit in the mid day sun . I'm quite handy and can build things myself so any pictures and ideas would be awesome ? Thank you

I see that took two days ? Looks very nice ! That's the kind of design I'm leaning towards . Just basic and sturdy ( might be more sturdy then the house lol )

I can beat a two day job by half a day.

A neighbour of mine just had a typical book design house built which is nice but thrn they added the designer car port and well......when i finish my house i will be building a car port like this.

So simple.

The photos not good as the owner is away.

Basically it involved casting 4 pieces of steel cantilevered against eachother all bolted and welded to just two baseplates in a concrete pad.

Then just a couple or three steels to carry a rather neat metal roof.

A bit of sunshade screening on the rear elevation and wired for light.

Zoom in a bit through the fence. From what i see here this will cost less than 10k

How about this one? Made it a week ago. Material + labour = 10k baht. 10 hours work. The two legs screwed down into concrete floor. The rest welded. For the top also used screws.

Again another fantastic idea , thank you very much! about 10k baht is all I want to spend on it so that would work wonders ??
