mike was a rich gent who lived in Pattaya years ago.

He stood for mayor some years ago but didn't win. I think he's originally from Surat Thani. Seems like a canny businessman.

He's generation two. Dad built most of what you see but Khun Surat has done his part in expanding on a fairly solid foundation. But yeah, if you were wondering, there's no western dude named Mike involved. Kind of like there is no 'Davis' involved in Chuwit's massage parlour and hotel company.
