Any time now, the baht will drop to it´s previous level.

Not that it matters to me, but I know that many expats are having a rough time.

FYI...

I've just landed in the north of england and i'm still seeing prices lower than Thailand.

Many items really are cheaper.

I have my partner with me, and she cannot believe how inexpensive many things are .

42 to 43 baht to the £ is a massive diffuser.

Even pappaya is cheaper here.

Its costing me my full pension and a lil bit from savings to live pattaya at present.

The only problem is the UK weather.

Summer is about to end lol.

And even I feel the cold.

Its my choise to live in a Farm Shed in Esarn. nothing to do with money. i enjoy the peace.

Sun and heat don't hurt the beer, and when they bring me a warm one, then charge me 40 for a bucket of mostly water; I still leave a nice tip that they can split 14 ways, because I like the girls hair dye and braces.

Those freakin braces scare the shit out of me,reminds me of Odd Job in the Bond Films.

But I live in a palace with ten employees from Laos who clean the house, five Masterbedrooms for my Mia Nois and I've never had any money issues.

Does anybody need a 25-year-old pickup? Only 300,000 baht.

I don't mind that two of my kid's teachers are pillow biters.

Explain to us why male homosexual teachers might be more of a risk to your presumably male kids than a male heterosexual teacher would be to your female kids. Your understanding of human sexuality must be fascinating...

I've needed my pick up quite often. Three years in a roll for a couple of rice sacks for an hour. ( Not my wife and her family)

Spot on.  If you knew what the golden lion meant on this post you'd see why I agree with you there. But you still don't know much about sex.  Beyond where you choose to point yours.

Sub Saharan's, and there are ancient cultural rationales behind this.  It's not a racist trope, but is misunderstood by left and right as such.

I deal with facts,  regardless of my politics. Which are progressive.

Have you ever had a discussion with the "blue people" on their camels?

 P.S. I could be wrong and it's a dromedar.

The Future of Blackpool Beach.

I just bought a pure wool suit and some cotton shirts from a Nepalese guy on Sukhumvit.

I am confident that one day posters will read and understand the titles of threads.

Expats would have been  so much better off with Hillary in the WH.

There is good mexican food in Chiang Mai.

My specialisation is Sub Saharan criminality,  well,  one of them anyway. I can't comment in Criminality on other African areas. I lack the data.

My moo ban has a great HOA everyone pays and no house looks like a motorbike repair shop/ beauty salon/mini mart.

And amazingly, even worse Mexican food in Mexico.

I like this tall, thai "lady."

I like the shorter traps myself.  More authenticity.

Another one we agree on. Three plastic cards never made it in as many years.
