baan chay nam restaurant - buriram

Featured Replies

Was back in buriram Monday to Wednesday to see the wife's friends. You know what it's like with thais, they have no idea about their town, city, location so we ended up searching the Internet for a nice thai restaurant that could accommodate our party of 12. We found the baan chay nam restaurant which was excellent. Very popular, live music, sit in or outside at the back near the fountain. To find it on google maps search ร้านอาหารบ้านชายน้ำ (not shown in english yet). Website is http://www.baanchaynam.in.th/ .From the Amari it's 10 minutes. Down the hill past ducati shop, 3rd exit at roundabout, go through traffic lights at junction with abandoned hotel, uturn and its in a small soi signposted for the restaurant before you hit the abandoned hotel junction.

Bredbury Blue: This is a top rated Thai restaurant in Buriram for all the right reasons. Excellent food, great service and beautiful surroundings. No shortage of great restaurants in Buriram, but this Restaurant is TOPS with Thai citizens of means. Note the patrons photos on the walls it is no mystery why this family run restaurant earns those patrons. The entrance is near the DeeStone Tire Dealer in Buriram.

Yep, for us in a party of 12 it was a great find. One of the friends with us lives in Buriram had never been before, but that's typical of thais who know nothing beyond the end of their road.
